Price and Value for the regular working musician
That’s what you get with this product. There is only one very tiny drawback I could find. The dongle that transmits seems a fraction big, but in this imperfect world it seems you never can perfect. I imagine that’s why some people prefer a Les Paul to an SG. You can get a swayback shoulder from a Les Paul, but it’s the sound and play-ability. Frankly, for the quality, the price seems like a no brainier to me. I’ve been playing fiddle just a bit over thirty years now. I own an acoustic. But my main instrument is a older Fender FV-1 that hast a great feel to it. I incorporated this with a BTS pickup for the clean and natural sound I desired. I play pro gigs. Jazz, country and pop. So, I’m not just an “owner”. I use it daily. When I knocked over my FV-1 one day because of the guitar cable tethered to it, I new I needed to find another way. Hence came the great wireless search. And I did buy and test drive a few different wireless set ups. I returned all of them except the Fiddler man. The compared quality and features of the Fiddler man wireless set-up outweighs the others like a fat kid outweighs the skinny one on the seesaw! No drop outs, Just a solid signal. The receiver acts as a master battery for a charge as it's battery is bigger just for when you need it. Plus you charge just by letting each device touch each other; they magnetically hook to each other. There is no distortion, which is something I found subtly buried in other devices. This things got a good clean signal. And here's a biggie; it works with a pre amp or active circuitry or just a coil pick up, and lasts long enough on one charge for a four hour gig plus! It has auto shut off after about 30 minutes of rest. Where others I tried shut of at 6 to 10 minutes. Things shutting off automatically in a short span when I'm on stage can be a bit frustrating. I might have 10 minutes where I'm on a my steel guitar and when I pick up my fiddle to fill in some part, the thing is shut off?! No way! The company is in the U.S. so if you speak to them, it's kind of down home, if you know what I mean. Yeah, I'd advise a friend thumbs up on this one. But more oft, I even tell a pro to use it.

Dead clean signal @ 30 meters
Professional-quality at a very reasonable price. You will have no issues gigging with this wireless system. Easy to set up and use. Pristine signal quality. Good (~4 hour) battery life, and the receiver also functions as a charger for the (smaller) transmitter. Four channels to use in case of any interference. Tone knob mildly accentuates the bass or treble frequencies, as desired. I use this unit for my basses, and it’s absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended. 0.1 points off a perfect score due to getting a bad USB to two micro USB splitter cable (I replaced it with another I had handy).

Finaly! A wireless system that sounds great!
“Thank you, Fiddlerman! After buying four...yes, four different wireless systems from different dealerships, I was dissatisfied with all of them. Then, after searching Fiddlerman's website, I found your new "Fiddlerman FWS-10" wireless system. I love it! The sound coming out of the Fishman Amp and Yamaha Yev (that I bought from you) is warmer, richer than from any of the other systems, and best of all, the FWS- 10 is quite a bit cheaper. Recharging the unit is exceptionally easy, with a simple USB connection, and both the tranmitter and receiver simply plug into the instrument and amp. I want to thank Fiddlerman's staff for the expert and friendly advice I have received from you for the past several years. Every violin, both acoustic and electric, that I bought from you, have been unbelievably better than I expected, considering the low prices. The bows also were better, at a fraction of the price of my old name bows. As you know, I have been a professional violinist, with symphony experience, for many, many years. Where were you during my 15 years as an instrumental music teacher in the Richmond, Va. schools, and then for 40 years as a professor at University of Queens? I'm glad I found you, you have treated me with friendliness and honestly, and delivered everything promptly and safely. What more can a man ask? Thank you, Fiddlerman”

I am so upset
I thought this system as I read about it but no it isn't... the signal keeps disconnecting through playing violin and once it link by transmitter and receiver then after a minute it is disconnected.. why is this. I didn't expect this to happen.. for me it is not useful at all

Quality Unit…..BUT…
I bought several different units to test. Some in the 2.4ghz a couple in the UHF range and 3 in the 5.8ghz range, the Fiddlerman being one of them. This unit really performed well. As a matter of fact, this one and the Sondery Wireless Guitar Transmitter Receiver System sounded the best of all the ones I tried.Almost no perceptible difference from being hard wired. The big plus for the Fiddlerman is the fact that the receiver acts as a charger for the transmitter….BUT.. To me that doesn’t justify it being twice the price. The specifications for Fiddlerman and the Sondery appear to be exactly the same… makes sense because they sound exactly the same.I wouldn’t blame anyone for keeping the Fiddlerman, but I returned mine and kept the SonderyI then bought a small portable powerpak to charge the Sondery using the “Y” cord that comes with it, and used the leftover money to purchase another effects Pedal.I’m giving the Fiddlerman 5 Stars because of its performance. It’s a great unit, and if you buy it, I think you’ll be happy with it.I just believe it’s overpriced. The tone control isn’t really necessary, and the charging feature isn’t really important to me because that’s solved with a powerpak. The Sondery is exactly the same unit (see photo I took of side by side specs), and it’s half the price. But that’s not a reason to take any Stars away from this one. Both are 5 stars to me. I just can’t justify spending twice as much for this unit…but that’s just me.
