I've never used a peel before, so this was my first go at one. I didn't know what to expect, but it ended up being a good experience. Because I shave my head, I often get ingrown hairs and I'm constantly trying to find ways to keep the ol' dome looking and feeling nice. I realize this peel is meant for faces, but bottom line up front: it works great for shaved heads too. The scent is really nice, with some clean botanical smells, nothing crazy. Spread on a thin layer, waited 10 min or so, and then it rinsed off clean in the sink, easy peasy. As it sat on my skin I could feel a slight tingly burning sensation (not at all painful, just something I noticed, but it's an acid peel, so I expected this). It didn't irritate the skin at all, no redness even after the rinse. Afterward the skin felt VERY clean, and after several days the skin on my face and scalp was still feeling better and looking clearer than it has in quite some time. And it's nice that I only have to do this a couple times a week. Once again, Brickell delivers. Verdict: I'll definitely be adding this to the skin care regimen. When they said "Smooth Finish" they were not lying!

I've been using Brickell's Smooth Finish Glycolic Acid Peel twice a week, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my skin’s texture and clarity. My face feels smoother, looks brighter, and post-acne marks have started to fade. It does tingle slightly during application, but nothing too uncomfortable. Overall, it’s a great at-home exfoliating treatment—just be sure to wear sunscreen the next day.

Have used a few times and see a difference in my skin tone. Nice scent and a good product. A little goes a long way and even more so if you are focused on the “t zone”.

The pun in the headline aside, this stuff is pretty incredible. I have pretty sensitive skin, but I used to work in a trade that kept me outdoors all day and my skin has built up a bit of resilience over the years. On my first use I swiped up a little too much from what was stuck to the inside of the lid, and then went ahead and left it on for at least 15 minutes. When I checked back in the mirror, I was pretty red and blotchy where it was obvious I put on too much. However, the redness subdued and dissipated in probably 20 minutes or less. When I washed off what was left on my skin, I couldn't believe it. My face was the smoothest and softest it's ever been. I was glowing, in a good way. The second round I knew to take it easy and follow the instructions by using only a pea sized amount and to just give it maybe 7-10 Minutes. It worked. No redness, all smooth sailing. Third time was a charm. Same results as the second except even smoother, brighter, and clearer. This stuff is incredible. If I felt comfortable posting a photo of my face on an Amazon review, I would for this stuff. I know a lot of people complain about the price for the amount you pay with Brickell products, but this product if definitely worth the bang for the buck. But if you have sensitive skin, consult with your dermatologist first. I have a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" green light from mine, so I had no worries using this.

I've tried a couple of other peels in the past and for one reason or another didn't like them. This is the first that I'm sure I will stick with. It has a great fragrance, a mix of citrus and spice. The peel has little exfoliators in it, which confused me at first because you are supposed just to let it sit. Turns out those little exfoliators make it easy to remove the peel once you need to rinse it off. I've had this a little more than a week, and while the instructions say to use it once or twice a week I've used it about four times, and my skin has had no adverse reaction. In fact, I'd say that I do already notice some results, especially in the nose area (T zone). Once I rinsed the peel off my skin was more moisturized, which is to be expected. I have noticed over the last week that the pores and skin in that area are starting to look smoother with the pores less obvious. I think I may also notice some changes beginning in the forehead area (I worry a lot and have lines to show for it). I'll post an update as I know more. I would suggest that someone try this if they'd like a product that is gentle yet will provide results.

The bottle is small but a little goes a long way. Immediately after the first use, my skin looked brighter and clearer. My skin is sensitive but there was no irritation and only minor redness after use that went away quickly. I applied it before my shower, the waited 15 minutes doing other grooming, and just washed it off in the warm shower. Nice and easy. I've had this a week and used it twice already (more than twice a week will likely not make your face look good). I'm happy with the results I'm seeing already and when this bottle runs out I will order more.
