Simplicity in complexity
This engaging book encourages kids (young and old ) on every page to remember, and for some of us rediscover, a simple fact in our complex world: we are amazing. Great artwork, great writing, love the book

A lovely read with a great message
A delightful book that sensitively tackles the issues faced by children sometimes struggling to feel at home in the modern world. Nicely illustrated with heartfelt poetry that will provoke thought in both child and adult alike.

A delightful book, but some editing required
This book has a wonderful sentiment and beautiful illustrations, except there is one section in the book that describes us as being different races. Firstly biologically this is not correct, secondly as the books main aim is to say that we belong highlighting racism as a subtle positive is not that great. I changed three words to make it read better, so that I can read this in my classroom. "Some might (come from) a different (place) ..."But otherwise, I like how it describes all the lovely things that make us different and equal.

Pretty good
Nice pictures and a wonderful message. I think it's a shame that the poetry let's is down a bit. Is it too much to ask that a children's poetry book should both rhyme and scan? However, a wonderful story about diversity.
