I had two tw-toned of this same water bottle. On one, the strap holder broke in one week. No biggie. I had another to carry. Time will tell if it's an issue with this one. The real difference is in the lid. The closures are much sturdier than my other two. The lock is about twice as thick and the flap that holds the mouthpiece down seems much strongerOverall I have been very satisfied with these water bottles. I've had the first one about four years. I wish the silicone mouthpiece didn't stain so easily, but stains don't affect functionality. They are a great value and very lightweight. If you really need insulation for heat/cold, this isn't for you, but you will be paying a lot more. I like liquids at room temperature, so they are perfect. Great if you need to monitor your water intake, or that of a loved one. I don’t think it would keep ice longer than a regular cup, but I haven’t tried it for that. Very happy with it.
