I am a fan of mushroom supplements and have tried out a few different brands over time. I usually find that they're a) overpriced or b) ineffective. The latter is especially the case with offerings around the same price range as these: you usually find they aren't even noticeable and if you look closer into the details of them, the blend of mushrooms is dubious at best. I am happy to report that these manage to be decent-quality supplements without being insanely expensive. Here's how I can tell: 1) You may feel a little queasy about 20 to 30 mins after taking them. I highly recommend a decent breakfast and a tums chewable before taking these. This is not a bad sign that the supplement isn't agreeing with you: it's just a fact of life that if you get a decent dose of medicinal mushrooms (same with herbs, too) that they are indeed medicine-like, and may hit your stomach hard. That being said, I have not thrown up or felt incredibly sick from them; I just got a few queasy burps as they started to kick in, and this goes away with time as you start getting used to them. 2) You CAN feel it. Getting a decent dose of beneficial mushrooms feels a lot like a *really* good double shot of espresso without the sweat and jitters. It helps remove morning brain fog, makes you feel more alert, and makes focusing on a given task much easier. No, it is not ADHD medication nor would I ever compare it to a stimulant. It is a lot more accurate to say that it removes fogginess and sluggishness than it is to say that it provides you with any energy. This is still a noticeable improvement for me, where I still feel like my sober self but can see throughout the day that I'm getting more done and am in a better mood when doing so. I've taken a lot of mushroom supplements that don't provide this as they don't do much of anything, mostly on account of them being a very cheap blend of mushrooms. But these you definitely feel, and that bodes very well for its quality. I plan on buying these again in the future. They're a great price for their quality and I cannot say the same about other brands I have tried.

No cons. These literally help me think. I take this and 100 mg of NAD+ on a daily basis and it has been so beneficial. I am older and as we age, our cognitive ability declines. I also have had a brain injury. These make a huge difference than with just the NAD+ alone. I feel like they are better together. I took off a star only because it does not work as well alone.

Great product

I took this supplement and felt extremely focused and energized. I had no lunch crash and I powered through the day. The problem was that the energy didn’t dissipate at night. I felt very energized and my thoughts were racing. I actually initially fell asleep for a few hours but when I woke up, my thoughts were racing and I felt extremely alert. I recall still feeling alert even the next morning, after only 5 hours of sleep. I had to put a pause on it because I need better sleep. I took two pills, so maybe one or half a pill is the right balance but I will take a break before finding out.

I have to take three at once to notice any difference but since I upped my dosage I have felt really good! More energy, clarity of thought! I have ADHD brain and it has helped tremendously with executive functioning, working memory, and motivation. 10/10 recommend!
