Cute & interesting to watch
I received this as a gift. I love how it works. To think of the science that went into creating this is amazing to me. Things I like: cute, interesting, fun, conversation starter Things I don't like: once it loses power, the planter comes crashing down (due to magnets) and makes a mess everywhere and can damage plants that are in it. The same thing will happen if it is not perfectly centered while on and if you bump it in any way. Definitely keep away from children as this could potentially crush some little fingers. Last thing I don't like that much is it is small which is expected given the description is accurate. I just wish there was larger planter sizes because this at most will fit a very small plant or succulent.

Great as a conversation starter.
Looks amazing. Surprises people when they visit.

Cool, but TINY
It’s super small. No way would I put a cactus or bonsai tree in there. Also there’s no drainage and really no way to get it. It’s gonna look super cool with an air plant though

Peaceful Perfection!
UPDATE: I have had this for about 3 months now. My review below stated it did not have drainage holes. Well, that is incorrect. You just can’t see them with the felt piece on the bottom. I have somehow managed to not only keep the plant alive in it, but had to change it out because it was growing so well. I love it even more now than when I first got it. And based on the number of people who stop by my office door and stare at it, it’s STILL a great talking piece. Lol. I am soooo pleased with this purchase! It sits on my desk and has such a calming effect. And it’s such a great talking piece. I DO have a small LIVE plant in it right now, though it was not designed for that, as there’s no drainage hole for the water. BUT…until I find an artificial plant that looks real, I will see if I can keep this one alive. That being said, the magnet is strong. It holds the weight of the wet soil, plant, and roots without a problem. Another review mentioned difficulty getting it to work. Well, it’s a magnet…a strong magnet. It took me about 2 minutes the first time to get it just right. I found the trick to be placing a couple fingers being the pot and the base while lining it up. It blocks a little of the pulling from the magnet. Once I figured that out, it sets up every time with ease. I do wish it was a little cheaper. However, that would not keep me from buying another one. This would be a very unique gift for a friend or coworker.

Show stopping
My kid got this for me for Christmas. She was so excited to give it to me. When we set it up, it was easy to do and i will definitely say, it looks AMAZING!!! It really does float and people stop to check it out!!! This is a fresh, cool idea for someone who likes plants. Definitely recommend

It's a friggin' HOVER POT!
Back to the Future promised hover cars and hover boards, but at least we got hover pots. Very sleek and elegant, also a VERY small pot, it holds about 1 cup (8floz) of soil but it works for a small sapling I'm starting! NOTE: IN THE VIDEO, I SPUN IT before filming on purpose. It doesn't spin like that, I usually find it slowly oscillating half a rotation in 5-10 seconds, or just completely still. It's very fun and easy to spin with one finger and very stable floating, even with a poorly distributed load. I imagine it will do fine with a moderately asymmetrical bonsai, but a big windblown one might not work lol

Seeking replacement for product that offers a “lifetime guarantee”
The product worked great for 2-1/2 years. Then the base stopped working and the white ceramic plant-holder no longer hovers above the base. I purchased the item via Amazon Prime, and it is advertised as having a “LIFETIME GUARANTEE - If this product does not meet your need for any reason we will replace or refund your money.” I would like a replacement for this product because when it works, it is great. If my broken item is replaced, I will revise my review of it.

Wanted to get something that's visually interesting for the home office. No particular reason for choosing this over the other levitating pots listed other than because the color of the base was appealing to me. First of all, the base is not actually made of wood and the surface is a veneer. The pot is also plastic with a ceramic look. This is fine though since the material quality is fairly good. There is a fairly large magnet embedded inside a chamber at bottom of the pot and it does protrude into the pot, which reduces the volume of soil that you can put inside a bit. Placing the pot on the stand required some gentle maneuvering but once you find the right magnetic zone the stand will "lock" the pot in place, and it's suprisingly strong - there's no chance the pot will float or slip off on its own. The field is also strong enough that I'm confident it will hold up the pot plus however much soil/plant you can reasonably fit inside it. I only had a small pot of fern on hand that would fit in this so I tried it. It's not pretty but it worked well although the pot constantly spins due to the plant not being perfectly balanced in weight distribution. I think this can be fixed by adjusting the plant but right now it doesn't bother me. Yes you can manually spin the pot by hand and it'll basically keep going for a long time until air friction eventually slows it back down. Overall it's basically exactly as advertised and I'm pretty happy with it. Hopefully longevity will be good.
