Perfect for practice
Bought it for my 9year old because he loves butterfly knifes, great for practice.

Honest thoughts
I was told I had to stop twirling the knives at work as it made others uncomfortable and it wasn't safe. . . So got this as an adult fidget spinner. I don't have nor inspired to own a real butterfly or bala -whatever knife so can't say how accurate it is for training. But it is pretty fun and feels like "tricks" just more or less happen on there own, plus keeps my hands busy. I figured it would be a wobbly, loose, cheap feeling toy but even with over 6-8 hours a day of flopping, dropping, slamming, twirling, spinning, and flipping, it's as good as the day I got it. I almost want to try to break it at this point but then my bored hands would be lonely.

Great, but ...
.... needs preemptive care Over the years, I have had experience with these and also trainers over $50. So far, they have all had the same problem in common -- the screws come undone. This tends to happen while flipping the knife so the screws, bushings and washers fly away and are never seen again. This trainer is otherwise as good as any I have ever seen. There is no reason I know of to spend more money (though admittedly, I have never tried a $300 one). Acquire two T7 torx bits. Carefully remove each screw, add a drop of blue loctite, then replace the screw. Be careful not to glob excess loctite anywhere except on the screw. A toothpick is good for application. Allow it to dry overnight. No more problem. From my experience, if you buy a $50 trainer, you still need to do the exact same thing.

Works perfect
Got this for my brother and it’s perfect. It looks just like the pictures and moves with ease. It feels like great metal and the weight is just right. It flips smoothly and works perfectly for what he uses it for

No sharp blades
A good one to safely learn to use it.

Fun while it lasted
It was great.. until it wasn’t. It lasted less than 10 days. Was starting to get the hang of rolling and flicking it around, but it dropped and broke like Legos. I would see the actual quality is good - it’s durable material, however, the assembly seemed to have been the failing point. I dropped it quite a bit but that’s part of “training” / practicing, but it didn’t end up being very durable. Bit sad, will probably check out another to continue. It was fun while it lasted.

Cheap plastic toy
Its a cheap plastic toy, the screws fall out when you are playing with it. I was going to give it less stars but I figured they were honest in the description and it was my mistake to buy this
