Q: Why are the big biscuit boxes of shredded wheat not found anymore in most grocery stores?

Shelf space in grocery stores is limited. Most cereals sold in stores is coated with sugar, and the big cereal makers keep on introducing more choices of these to attract more buyers. Children don't like the older non-sugared cereals that older adults like. Big biscuit shredded wheat disappeared from my local grocer's shelves about three years ago; now, even the spoon size shredded wheat is disappearing—even thought it doesn't taste nearly as good. There is nothing you can do about this. I have spoken to grocery store managers about this, but they tell me they have no control about what is ordered for delivery to their warehouses. Thank Post Cereals for keeping this cereal in their production plan. I will continue to buy it from Amazon as long as they keep it up.
