C’mon guys… This CD is the worst work of copy from the best music written in Spanish… It’s just like Britney Spears taking verses from Dylan, Cohen, Nash and singing them as if they were her own, but adding them a lot of trash lyrics…

Hello!...well...I want to tell all of you that if you never listened one of Arjona's songs you'll better start right now, because you can't imagine what you are losing..All his cds are E*X*C*E*L*L*E*N*T*S*; "Santo pecado","Si el norte fuera el sur", etc..the lastone I mention (together with "Historias"), is the best one..I never get tired of his songs :)...please, pain atention to what he sings,so you can apreciate his songs better...in some of them he start telling the story of a person or a description of a woman (like "Mujer de lujo, in Santo pecado"), it's not so important which one you hear, because the are ALL greats!!!..From "Si el norte fuer el sur", you better listen "Tu reputación", and "Noticiero"..or "Ella y el", in my opinion they are some of the best ones..but if you don't like them, it's okay, because in the cd the songs are really difierent, so you have somthing for al the tastes.Ricardo has this unic way of expres what/how he felt in the moment he wrote the song.In case you don't know him, he is a great artist, not only for his voice but also because he wrote his own songs, and he wrote "Asignatura pendiente", too...That comments that some people said (I read it from a rewiew), are wrogn for me, that person said that Ricardo copy the style of other singers;1_I don't think thats true, and I don't care, either.2_ If it is like that , it's not important, because all of us have someone we admire and we try to copy.3_ All the singers has a little bit of otherones, they can't we all differents.Well, I expect you to write me if you want to say somthing about Arjona; all comments will be wellcome.Andrea(*_*)

Arjona toco fondo. Lo malo es que la prensa light que es la mas escuchada le da un aplauso y las jovencitas compran sus discos por montones, y suspiran con cada refleción poetica que él hace. Pero todo es una pose que en el peor de los casos el mismo se ha creido. No existe cancion de el que no sea plagio de alguna de Silvio, Sabina o Serrat. Hasta en las declaraciónes roba las ideas de otros. Arjona parece un aficionado a la musica que hace su presentacion del disco como la hizo su artisa favorito que nadie conoce, o trata de imitar el solo que hizo alguien en algun lugar hace tiempo y el lo sabe pero el publico no. Solo que en este caso llego a tal su fama que existe gente que se da cuenta. No lo critico porque sea comercial, ni por falto de originalidad, sino por creerse original y anticomercial, es decir por tomar en serio un papel que no es el suyo. "Si el notre fuera el sur" es un plagio descarado de "El sur tambien existe de Benedetti cantado por Serrat" y cada frase de sus otras canciones no es mas que esa filosofia que el tanto admira pero sin cafeina. No puede hacer versos sin hacerlos obios y se gustifica con la libertad poetica, siendo que un poeta tiene la sensibilidad para acomodar las palabras como se le plascan y no que las palabras lo dominen a el.

Arjona is a brilliant storyteller, and has deep lyrics, and catchy rythems. Some of the tunes are romantic ballads, some are more rock n roll, some are tropical. He is not shy to share his political views. He has a way with words which is unmatched in pop music today, I highly reccomend all of his recordings! Never mind the reviewers who bash him, they're just jealous.
