When applied to leather or plastic vynal, does it need a primer?

I did no use primer. I wiped all surfaces down with acetone then soap and water. This stuff is amazing! You could clean surfaces with a damp cloth. I had some oil on some surfaces. This product makes a wonderful finish. No chips, no rubbing off, just a pure solid finish. I love it👍
