First off, I was impressed with the packaging! My older brother who can be pretty picky even seemed impressed with the fixtures too. These were exactly what I was looking for to go on a 100+ year old house. I was replacing some old ugly ones, so the boxes were already in place so it was a pretty easy install, and I'm not really what you'd call "handy". They came on at dusk and went off when the sun came up, look great too. Sidenote, something handy is you can replace the bulbs from the bottom and not have to remove a globe or such to do so. I love the texture on the glass too because it diffuses the light some.

I like these lights. They are affordable and look clean. But the mounting screws are way to long for old work boxes, about 1/4 to 3/16 to long. You can tighten the caps all you want, but they bottom out leaving a gap. Tried cutting one set of screws and chewed up the threads. You have to buy more rubber washers and stack 3 high. Besides that one flaw, they are great.

Very nice lights

These are not motion lights, they are dust till dawn so when it gets dark they turn on. I installed on a switch so I can still control at night. Installation is easy but the fact they are not to come on in day means you are not sure they are wired correctly is there is light out. I installed and prayed. That night they worked great. I tried to tape light sensor to make them turn on in day but that never worked. Maybe they have another I could not see, but once installed they work great.

Work great

This is a reasonably high quality light that goes on auto when it gets dark. Easy to change bulbs since it is open at the bottom. This does not have a rubber gasket, so you will need to calk around the attachment to make it waterproof. I have used 4 of these units and 3 are fine, but one of them has a loose socket for attaching the bulb. For example, when I try to unscrew the bulb, the socket spins with the bulb.
