100 Grumpy Animals

Bought for my 2-year old niece. Didn’t read the description but it’s fine because she can’t read.

It delivers exactly what it promises. Also follow the author on twitter, they're really into doodling bugs now. I think Coronavirus finally broke them.

The sarcasm, the artwork, 10/10.

This book is so funny. I'm in my 50s and love taking wildlife photos and taking walks in nature so I learn a lot about animal behavior along the way. I've also worked at a wildlife care center before. So when I saw a couple pages from this book I knew I had to buy it because really I imagine each of these animals would say something just like this if they could really talk lol. I highly recommend this. It just makes me smile and laugh. My only request is that this also be offered as a set of mini-posters or a card deck so I don't have to rip out the pages and hang them on my wall.

This book is pure gold! Not for kids. I'd love to see the artwork and captions turned into shirts, posters, etc..

Love this! It’s a perfect coffee (with a shot of espresso) table book. Lighthearted for a quick flip and a laugh, but spiked with some curse words for an added jolt. 🐊✨

I bought this book as a present for my father and he adored it! Definitely not for kids, but my group of friends had fun passing it around finding our favorite comics before I handed it over to my dad. I was pleased to learn that the author had written a more kid-friendly book after some folks mistakenly purchased this one for their kids.

I’ve enjoyed the author’s internet drawings for several months, and the paperback form is even better. Will absolutely be purchasing as gifts in addition to my own copy!

This book arrived quite badly damaged, bent in the post and with the front page torn. On opening the book I found pages stuck together.I was expecting the content of this book to be a quirky set of whimsical cartoons, and as expected there was a good deal of choice language.What I found was that each cartoon and caption seemed to disseminate the author’s descent into depression, or madness, so rather than enjoy some eccentric cartoon animals’ hijinks, I couldn’t enjoy a word of it without being worried for the writer.Certainly not fun for kids, questionably so for adults, and not a work of literature I want on my shelf.It was returned for a full refund without problems.

This is a book of cranky animal pictures, and I love it! The author has a good sense of humour - if you like puns!

Great illustrations, clever humour without being mean spirited, and plenty of space to reread. Highly recommend for anyone who likes animals with a dash of snark
