Is it suitable for caregivers?

It works well as long as you have a place to plug the bell in. The alarm is plenty loud and can be heard several rooms away. The range is reasonable for the call button. I would prefer an alarm that is battery powered so that I (the care giver) could have the freedom to move around without worrying about finding a place to plug the alarm in.

How long does the battery last?

I've been using it for almost 1 year and going strong. Since I am a bit of tech, it should not be difficult for me to change the battery.

How well does the pagers work?

Works really well. I have transmitter in my elderly mother's bedroom and the receiver in my room. The distance is about 40 feet going thru 2 walls without problems. It has a volume setting and different tones you can select. Now my mother does not have to shout out my name anything she need my help to get up. I recommended it.
