Works well but be aware that some of the sizes of the knock out apertures are different from earlier versions of the same lock. The keyless locking feature is handy.

When installing the lock the outside panel was missing.Therefore the lock could not be installed.Please send silver outside panel or plate so that the lock can be installed properly.

Our old ones were a deadbolt and locking entry knob, so two holes needed covering. Part of the pre work included the smith placing a matching layer of extra metal over the holes so the end result was flush. As for performance, it is commensurate with commercial grade equipment and no complaints. The cylinder we used was linked directly to the item, described by Amazon as not included. So in the end, my smithy had to dismount the door, take the beasty boy down to front porch and more or less insert the mortise assembly into door's innards and calmly fasten everything into place. No rocket scientists here, so I'd a reckon that unless your a die-hard DIY-er who dreams about tearing sheet up for fun in order to experience the rush of creationism, I'd a reckon you better employ an expert for getting flawless operation and appearance. The components are rock solid and handles like solid chrome metal, nice to grip. The teeth latching into place snap close like a hungry gator's once you push it in just to that point. My favorite part's controlling outside handle's status from a twisty on mortise inside door jamb. Totally tubular, I must say, like as in "totally."
