I have been searching for handkerchiefs that meet my needs for years. I've bought a variety of handkerchiefs both from Amazon and from local retail stores, without success. But finally I've found some that meet my needs -- and I've ordered a few dozen of them so that I won't have to shop for handkerchiefs again for many years. Here are my needs: (1) I wear glasses, so my handkerchiefs have to be soft and thick enough to clean them from time to time. (2) I have terrible seasonal allergies, so my handkerchiefs have to be absorbent enough to handle a day's worth of nose blowing. (3) They need to hold up to machine washing and drying. (4) I need to be able to hand smooth a handkerchief (with no ironing), then fold it four times into a square packet that has to fit into a pants pocket, while still being big enough to be useful. (5) They have to last through many washings without pilling, etc. So far these have met all my needs (although so far the most I've washed any of them is around six times). These start out at about 15-1/2" by 16", then after washing shrink to about 14" by 14-1/2". This is just barely big enough. After a few washings they come out wrinkled little enough that I can hand-smooth them just before folding. They are soft enough for my glasses, and absorbent enough for my nose. They do not have raised, decorative ridges around the perimeter like almost every other handkerchief does (and for my glasses' sake I prefer this). And they are far more reasonably priced than many more expensive but poorly performing handkerchiefs I've bought in the past.

I like these handkerchiefs. They're soft, just the right size, absorbent. They are a tiny bit wrinkly after drying but I don't care. I'm not using them as an accessory to my outfit. I blow my nose on them. If I need more, I will buy them again

Hands down, the best hankies I've ever bought, and I've bought a TON of different brands! These are nice and thick, and soft! My dad goes through 5-10 handkerchiefs a day, and because these are such good quality, he's using much less.

These hankies are really nice! Very soft, a nice thickness, and the 100% cotton fabric is absorbent and washes well. I bought these because I am a Sweaty Girl (tm) who needed something a little more substantial (and maybe a tad more eco-friendly) than a tissue to delicately dab sweat off my forehead. But, because I am extra and always doing The Most, I decided that plain hankies just wouldn’t do - so I tie dyed mine! They held up so well during the dyeing process and dyed beautifully. Now I have super fun handkerchiefs and can happily go about my Sweaty Girl Summer without drowning in a puddle of my own sweat. Yay!

It's that time of year. No matter what pill I take, my sinuses remain immune to its effects. I can go through a whole big box of tissues in two days. So rather than fill a landfill, I opted to try handkerchiefs this Spring. Some years ago I bought some that were made of bamboo, and they worked rather well, But I didn't have enough of them, and opted for these. Observations: • After first wash they were soft enough. • I've never ironed a hanky in my life, but these are surely candidates... if that's important. • They are absorbent, but.... • They are not quite thick enough for me. See the photo, where I tried to show a bright outdoor window through it. In short, they get damp throughout pretty quickly. (Sorry if that's gross.) • I've seen a few very small loose threads at the hems. Nothing to cause alarm, yet. • They do measure 16" x 16". In short, 12 for $13? For casual use they are sufficient. But in May, I think I prefer my old bamboo hankies.

Das sind die besten Taschentücher, die ich seit langer Zeit gekauft habe. Sie sind groß, haben einen dichten, festen Stoff (nicht durchsichtig!) und sind super weich und saugfähig. Das sind Eigenschaften, die bei Erkältung und laufender Nase besonders wichtig sind. Bei Taschentüchern, die nicht saugfähig sind, werden diese schnell naß und man putzt seine Nase mit einem nassen Tuch, was die Haut unter der Nase unnötig reizt. Das passiert mit diesen Tüchern nicht! Absolut empfehlenswert!
