Great product
Exceeded my expectations, high quality pictures, long battery life, easy use, only issue I saw was red eye but that is the least of my worries lol

Would Not Charge or Activate
After receiving this product I went to hook it to its USB charger. The first time, there was no indicator that it was charging and when I unplugged it, it wouldn't turn on. I then tried to hook it up to other locations as well, and got the same result.

Number one camera
I've had a DSC-950 for 2 years. this is one of the best cameras that I ever had. Everything about the camera is a plus. I had my first DSC-950 camera stolen at my Mothers funeral with a lot of pictures of my Mother and family. I looked at other cameras but for this style, the DSC-950 was the best. So I ordered another DSC-950. I am glad I found one because I guess they do not make the DSC-950 anymore. I Hope the person that took the camera enjoy it as I did. Randy Spaulding 1614 Anchor Dr. E. It's ok
Worked fine... But stopped working all of a sudden... The lens won't come out, worth the price though. Probably will start back working if I work with it...

good camera for the money
so many people on here blast things for being cheap--guess what? If you buy the $150 Sony camera instead of the $350 one expect it to be $200 less effective. It is a fabulous camera for the money--I have had numerous photos published with it--and its predecessor--you have to accept limitations--it isn't made for night/low light or for long range work--other than that, it WILL be fine for you if you just like to have a camera handy, but don't want to spend more money. If you DO want more, go up the price line and you will find what you are looking for.

Brand is not all
An OKish performing camera. I bought it mainly because of the expectations associated with a Sony product. The quality is not what I expected. Just to clarify, this camera does not seem to be designed for night photos. I took it with me on a trip to Manhattan. No matter what setting I used, the pictures had a red hue and were dark. You really can't appreciate the beauty of the Manhattan lights. I had to do quite alot of touching! Other than the night thing, the photos are a good quality. However I must mention that I bought an 8 mp Nikon for my Mum and the quality of the night photos are way better.
