Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune By Guerlain For Women. Eau De Toilette Spray 4.2 Ounces

Deliciously feminine, not too floral, citrusy and eloquent fragrance. One of oldest and first Guerlain perfumes.

It's not a "normal" fragrance, and it's getting hard to find.. and both I and my sister love it. This particular purchase is a gift for her. She will approve! (Amazon beats the airfare to London to get it at Selfridges)

I love this fragrance, I bought it when I was in Paris a few years ago and loved it then, love it still. The fragrance last forever on me, spray in on in the morning and it’s still there at night. Love Shalimar as well, totally different though

Smells awful oy

I have been wearing this perfume for years and cannot imagine my life without it. It is a year round perfume. It is probably "simpler" that some of the classic Guerlain entries but that was the exact intent of the creators to make the brand more appealing to bigger audiences. The fragrance is sophisticated and complex without being overly complicated, to a point of being old fashioned. I am glad that Pamplelune, one of the first five titles in the Aqua Allegoria series has persevered and is still in production. It is a tribute to its timeless quality and appeal.

One star of 2 because I purchased from a vendor of expired or tester stock in the first round. Smelled like it came out of a farm yard. Heavy animal or urine funk. Nothing that would draw one back to purchaw again. Second purhase was lovely...a light grapefruit fragrance.. no cat pee residual. I will select from vendors more carefully vetteted in the future.

I love Pamplelune ! It’s a delicious and invigorating fragrance. I wanted to be certain it was a new unopened item, so I paid a few extra bucks for ships and sold by Amazon. It was sealed with original clear cellophane. And smelled new & fresh. It pays to be a prime member.

The Guerlain Acqua Allegoria Pamplelune turns out to be a quite sprightly and refreshing fragrance. A little bit floral, a little bit fruity (in a ‘sec’ sort of way). It won’t be my all-round favorite fragrance but it’s very, very nice for a ‘pick-me-up’ because there’s a sort of happiness to it.

This is my 'go-to' fragrance for a hot Summer day! It is brimming with freshly-squeezed grapefruit, lemon and bergamot top-notes that are oh-so-refreshing in the heat. Yet there is an underlying sandlewood and vanilla which are discernible after a few minutes, and it is their presence which provides both staying-power and the true "Guerlinade" which lift this fragrance way above just another evanescent citrussy cologne. Some years ago, I was living in Geneva where temperatures frequently reached 36 degrees for days on end. I loved to rush home from work, change into a swimsuit and drive along to a secluded lakeside beach where I'd cool off with a swim, before spritzing my still-damp body generously with Pamplelune, then relaxing on my towel with a glass of Entre Deux Mers (cooled in the lake) to watch the dying sun turn the snowy Alps orange, dusky rose, and finally deep purple. Smells are so evocative aren't they? Every time I use Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune, I'm reminded of magical sunsets on that little beach!
