Great quality, compact, and very effective
This mortar and pestle is solid, well-made, and has a nice weight to it. The marble feels sturdy and grinds herbs, spices, and pills smoothly without slipping. I really like the small bowl size—it’s perfect for everyday use and easy to clean. Packaging was secure and the product arrived exactly as described. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

Well made marble mortar
I bought this mortar to primarily grind dry spices more finely after using my electric spice grinder. It works really well after dry rice seasoning. It seems to crush dried herbs pretty easily. It's a great size for small to medium jobs. Its weight is relatively heavy compared to other marble mortars, but the weight is comparable to marble blocks. The extra weight in the pestle helps with grinding so there's less effort on our part. It's a great value for its cost and marble quality. It arrived well packaged and in new condition without damage. Worth a try.

Great product, works very well.
I LOVE to make Chia and use this for crushing the cardamom and ginger. It is the perfect size for this use and small enough it doesn't take much room either on the counter or in a drawer. It is well made from marble and very nice to look at as well. The weight of the marble is very helpful in keeping it stable while using the pestle. I would definitely buy another for a gift and would highly recommend it for for all your herbs and spices when needed. Really a good price as well.

Good Quality Item.
I purchased this to grind up my dog's antibiotics. It worked like a charm and it also looks nice sitting on the counter.

Super big and heavy!
This is much heavier and larger than I thought. It's good quality, sturdy and works well. But it is a bit hard to use do to the size and weight. Texture is smooth, but this is more for larger ingredients.

Absolutely beautiful! Very heavy marble great for grinding herbs & spice. About a one cup or so size bowl. So it’s great for grinding up anything in the kitchen. Wonderful quality. Great buy.
