Great multiregion Blu-ray player—at an affordable price!
I was very pleased to discover this little multiregion Blu-ray player! It's compact, offers a crispy high-def picture, and is very easy to use. Just plug 'n' play! The best feature of all is this li'l guy's ability to play NTSC- and PAL-format Blu-ray and DVD discs from myriad regions around the world. There are a tiny few Blu-ray discs from regions that it will NOT play—such as Region B; however, you can learn which ones it won't play by reading the full product-description. But for the most part, it will play the majority of ones you have purchaseable access to. Another great feature is its ability to play video files, audio files and photos/images from a 2.0 flash drive (the only con is that the drive's size capacity must be limited to 128-gig storage; however, this was no deal-breaker). Another plus is that it has no problems playing my home-produced DVD-Rs/DVD+Rs (which is often a playback issue with some commercial Blu-ray/DVD players). On minor drawback, however, is the player's tiny remote control, with tiny buttons that don’t light up upon pressing them (making it a bit of a challenge to determine which one you’re pressing in a darkened room; but again, this is no deal-breaker. Many reviewers here have complained about the continuous glow of the little red power light, but it's not THAT bad unless your eyes are EXTREMELY sensitive to a slight glow in the dark and you keep this player in your bedroom); it doesn't bother me at all. But do keep this in mind *BEFORE YOU BUY*: If you need a Blu-ray player that has built-in Wi-Fi, then this is NOT the player you; since I have other players throughout the house that are Wi-Fi-based, I am good with it. Overall, if you want a solid Blu-ray/DVD player that offers HDMI- as well as RCA-cable connections and one that's capable of playing content from a USB flash drive without issues, then this player is wonderful—and very affordable—solution. Snag one before they go out of stock, and don't forget to purchase the replacement warranty (as I do with ANY players I purchase; it just makes good sense). Happy viewing on your Tojock Blu-ray player! :-)

Awesome Blu-Ray player for the price.
I just received my Tojock player two days ago, and extremely pleased with my purchase for the price. It was easy to setup and I alternate between the DVD player and Blu-Ray as needed. I know it’s 2021, but this is my first Blu-Ray player ever. I already had so many DVDs of my own, then thought I would switch to Apple iTunes or Amazon to download movies and TV shows, but the latter never really took off for me. Anyways, I’ve not learned all of the features of the player, but know you can control everything from the volume to the contract from the remote. The image is crisp. I’ve posted a picture as well as the video. The video is geared more towards those who might purchase Studio Ghibli movies. I attempted to submit a second video to clarify the issue I incurred, but Amazon only allows for one video per submission apparently. If you watch my video, you’ll see that the Tojock system is showing an icon in the top right-hand corner, which goes away at chapter 3 of the disc (the disc I’m playing is called SPIRITED AWAY). What’s interesting is it seems to be only Studio Ghibli Blu-Ray DVDs does this happen. I’ve reached out to Tojock asking if they had anyone else ask this same question (I’ll make an edit when I hear back). I own the Limited Edition Steelbook cases of THE CAT RETURNS and SPIRITED AWAY both from SHOUT! Factory. Coincidentally, the right-hand corner icon appears on both THE CAT RETURNS and SPIRITED AWAY, then disappears in chapter 2 and 3 respectively. I also have the Limited Edition Steelbook cases by SHOUT! Factory of FRIDAY THE 13TH and FRIDAY THE 13TH PART 2, which DOES NOT have any icon appear during the movie. Additionally, I played WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT 25TH ANNIVERSARY without incident. Now what’s interesting is when I put another/different SPIRITED AWAY Blu-Ray disc in the Tojock Player, it gives one the same icon until chapter 3, so it’s not the player, as it is something embedded (possibly?) in the disc itself. I went through all of that detail because it may just be Studio Ghibli films; however, I have not had enough time and/or Blu-Ray DVDs to try. I will post an edit to my review when Tojock reaches back out to me. But at this time the player is seamless and plays perfectly. UPDATE: As previously mentioned, I reached out to Tojock's customer service who responded via email with a fix within 15-minutes after my email was sent; I was and and still am impressed with their customer service/ tech support. She included a PDF of the user manual, and photograph of the fix for the aforementioned issue. 'I checked with engineer, this is a Multi-angle scene disc, you can turn off this logo by turning off "Angle Mark" in the settings. (Below picture for your reference).' I've attached the photo she is referring to in case anyone incurs the same issue. I've had the Blu-Ray now for 10-days and love it.

This BluRay - DVD - CD player is AWESOME!!!!!
This player is 10x better than I was expecting. I tested with NTSC BluRay's, played fast and perfect. I tested with various UK PAL and USA NTSC DVD's, all played perfect. The PAL conversion was seamless. I tested with CD's of pictures, they all displayed perfect. I tested with my own created video discs, all played perfect. I tested with DVD copied using from various copy programs, all played perfect. I plugged in a USB drive (powered by players USB connection) which had hundreds of movies on it, random selection of 5 or 6 movies (lost track) all played perfect. I tested and verified MKV and MP4 video files, all played perfect. I tested with Audio CD's of various purchased and home made varieties, all played perfect. I didn't read the manual (tech nerds never do). Pressed the Media Center button to get the menu up for the USB file system. The USB drive had a multi directory layered file system and navigation deep was a breeze. I found out the volume control on the remote actually operates the volume level coming from the player. Default is 50% so you can tweak it. The ZOOM button is just brilliant. Not only can you zoom in at various magnifications, you can also move the zoomed area around the image. But what made this brill, you can zoom out 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 (not just magnification). Let me be honest, I bought this drive because my expensive BluRay died on me and I looked for replacements but so many named brands had suspect bad reviews it concerned me. I read through loads of reviews on this drive and thought... take a chance, and it does all regions of DVD's!!!!!! I just wantd a drive to play Blu-Ray and DVD ideally. I didn't expect it to be as good as it is. I was also stunned at the compact size. I mean this thing is tiny. Further, it wasn't noted anywhere in the ad that I could find but this does have Digital Coax Audio Out which while not essential (wouldn't have complained if it was missing) was a really nice surprise feature. I tested with stereo and Digital audio output While this has been referred to as a no frills drive, I don't think that's really fair. Sure it has no streaming???... WHY do I want this, I already have streaming on a separate device... It doesn't have an ethernet connection - GREAT.. I don't want one on a Blu-Ray player!!!!. If I had to be seriously picky... and I'm not... the only real frill missing is there's no frame advance on pause but hey, if you need that, question why you're watching a movie???? So that's the ONLY missing "frill" I can see and I'm not bothered in the slightest. I bought this to PLAY various discs and all I tested played flawless, NTSC and PAL DVD's included. Also, it powers up fast, reads discs fast. My old named brand took about 60-75 seconds to load one specific Blu-Ray... about 12 seconds on this. Others played even faster. I played with the setup and resolution, lots of options. fast forward is 1 thru 5, skip to next chapter worked perfect. This player is AWESOME!!!!!!! Most impressed.

Rips and burns very well, but its power cord is very insecure.
It does everything it was designed to do and does it extremely well, but the power cord needs to be greatly improved. The problem is that the power cord does not plug securely into the transformer and is very easily dislodged by accident. A lesser defect is the absence of a manual eject button on the unit itself. You have to eject a disc with the computer itself by clicking eject on the device's icon on the "This PC" window. Aside from those two problems, however, it is an outstanding ripper, player and burner.

TOJOCK replaced a bad remote after 2 years, 5 stars to TOJOCK !
I've had this player for 2 years, great player but the remote stopped working the other day, ( universal remotes won't work on this machine ) and you can't use it without the remote. I contacted the manufacturer TOJOCK through Amazon and they sent me a new one right away at no cost to me. That was so nice. One good thing about this player is it has a zoom in several sizes and the zoom icon goes off the picture after about 3 seconds, some players that cost a lot more then this one don't even have zoom or if they do the icon stays on the picture while you watch the dvd. I zoom all full screen dvds and some widescreen so zoom is very important to me. I don't have it hooked up to the internet so there are several features I can't use, One of those features I can't use it to be able to turn off subtitles through the player, I have one dvd from France that has subtitles but the dvd has no option to turn off the subtitles without going through the dvd settings but it's a great player, it will play blueray from several regions , and all dvds no matter what region. The only problem is sometimes I have to unplug it and plug it back in to reboot it, not very often though. Great picture quality as far as I can see. I don't do streaming ( I'm old school ) so I use this dvd player every day almost all day long and it's lasted good. I don't play video games, but like I said I have it going every day playing dvds and some blue ray. I don't have many blueray, I have several dvds from the U.K. and it plays them fine. I also have a few dvds from other countries and it plays them fine. I was very impressed about the company sending me a new remote after 2 years with no hassel and no charge to me, so impressed I'm going to order another one of these players to have on hand.

Excellent player and OUTSTANDING customer service
I ordered this player primarily because it claimed to be able to play regular DVDs in addition to Blu-ray. When it arrived, I set it up on my main TV, which involved moving some heavy furniture, and turned it on to try it out. The disc tray would not open. I tried several times, without success. In the User Manual, there were instructions on how to get the tray to open, but that didn't work, either. I emailed the seller's customer service address, and said that, if the issue was not resolved within 24 hours, I was sending the unit back. I didn't hear anything, so, completely frustrated, I informed Amazon that I was sending it back. A couple of days later, I received an email from the seller, giving me a few more steps to try. I responded that I had returned the player, and had ordered a different one. They then responded, offering to send me a new unit, free of charge, to make up for all my trouble. I was skeptical, but agreed. Within a few days, a new player was delivered to my door. The first thing I did was to make sure that the disc tray would open, and it did. So, I went ahead and installed the unit on another TV, put a disc in, and it played. Well, the video played, the audio did not. This resulted in a flurry of emails between me and the seller. Looking through various settings within the software, I could not see anything that would prevent the audio from playing. I finally ordered a new HDMI cable, and tried it out. Bingo! Clearly, the cable that came with the player was defective. Everything now plays just fine, and I'm very satisfied with the player, and with a company that is obviously dedicated to the highest standards of customer service. If you order any of their products, and have a problem, they will do whatever it takes to make it right. Highly rercommend.

Bluray barely works. Faulty. Unsatisfied
Bought November 29, 2025 since I obtained this device and plugged in with both types of provided connectors it hasn't worked right once. It consistently blacks out and comes back and does it again many times; usually that means a lose connection so I unplugged from bluray and back in, unplugged and plugged back into the TV (using all three HDMI ports), I also decided to try the component connection and it failed also saying I need a TV with 1080p or 1040p and my tv is 1080p quality. I even switched out the stock HDMI and component cables with higher quality connectors and still the same results so the conclusion is that I received a faulty device. I'd will gladly change the review for a replacement device and I will send in this faulty one in place of the new if the company agrees.

Easy installation and use
I always read the reviews before buying a product. We needed a new Blu Ray player and I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of money. This was for our beach house. The house has no wifi, we used cables. This product fit the bill, but the reviews said it was tricky to install and use. Once our new player came in, my kids immediately wanted to set it up. My 11-year old wanted that “challenge,” so I let him do it. I really thought he was going to need my help. Lo and behold, the installation and setup was nothing. He set it all up with no help. The speed and quality of the movies has been great. Maybe we have an updated version. I’m really not sure. All I know is that it was extremely easy to set up. 100% worth the buy.
