The chamber for the water is small, so you get about 2 hrs worth of spray before it runs out. I didn’t bother using the timer because it has been very hot in the Prairies for the past two months and I can’t take the heat.That could be the problem: it’s built for what summer used to be as opposed to what it is evolving into.It used to be 2 maybe 3 weeks tops of hot weather when I was younger, so a fan was good enough. Not anymore.The fan still “works” in that the fan rotates back and forth slowly. The problem is that the fan blades themselves will stop moving. It sounds quiet but when you look, it starts up again so I wasn’t sure at first.Now, you can clearly see that the blades stop every other minute or so. It still partially works, that’s why I didn’t say anything sooner (I had bought it April 2022). But I’m hoping that other people that buy this realize that it may not last past one very hot summer. Try to get it on sale for a room that you don’t go into that often

We bought this for our gazebo, to blow between my husband and I. You can feel the breeze pretty good to a max range of 18-24". The oscillating feature was a must for us, and this works well. It definitely makes a difference when you add water from the fridge, and ice cubes. Works for us! Would recommend!EDIT: It worked great for 2 weeks, then just randomly started shutting itself off. Item returned.

I’ve only had the fan for little over a month and it died on me. Now full disclosure I did have it running full speed the past few days cause the a heat wave. So if you get this product just make sure you either use the timer function or remember to turn it off or it won’t last a month.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi il s'arrête tout seul de temps en temps et non ce n'est pas la minuterie. Y'a aussi qu'on dirait que ça se bouche, il n'envoit pas toujours le petit jet d'eau. Je passe une petite brosse dedans et ça se replace, mais je dois le faire assez souvent. Sinon c'est bien.

The fan sometimes makes a high pitch dail tone noise. And it's strange, it's sometimes, but most of the time.Many fans make noise, I am fine and get used to it sooner or later. But this high pitch noise it's hard to adapt to. I have no other options, I guess I will wear a ear plug to sleep.

So if you're living in a very small room maybe 150 square feet, then this may just work out for you. If you don't mind going to get more ice every time it melts, which would be quite often when the weather is hot.It's a Band-Aid solution for what a small air conditioner can do for you.

Good for the money, work perfectly as a fan but doesn't cool off your personal area. I feel that the air flow is not strong enough to force the mist out. Tried putting ice cubes in as some posts suggested but didn't really make any difference.

I got this at a very reduced price which made this a great purchase, but it would not be worth the money at full price. The air doesn't get any cooler than it would with just regular air, and it creates condensation on the outside
