Upholstery Micro Suede Headliner Fabric by The Yard (Aubergine)

This fabric is EVERYTHING! I made this beautiful slipcover, cushions and pillows. It is super easy to sew. Material is thick, rich and expensive looking. When pressing seams, definitely use a piece of muslin or a bandana.

I used this to replace my MINI’s sagging headliner.It was easy to work with, and came out great! That was two months ago, and still holding up.

This product is not suitable at all for headliner applications or any curved or sculpted panels. It will not conform to the shape without wrinkles and pulling away later because of the tension in the fabric. It is really good strong fabric and well made . It would be excellent for seat centers or large flat areas .

The headliner on my C5 Corvette targa top was falling down. I replaced it with this and now it’s better than new.

Not a bad product, only downside is no stretch , so you need to make sure you have two people so you can enter the crevices properly, and if you want to do it without foam back don’t be generous with the glue when spraying on the fabric, light spray and lay, as you can see the spots where applied to much adhesive, regardless it’s a great product without the foam back

Good fabric, but it frays when cut and is not stretchy at all. If your headliner is flat with few contours it will work. Mine however, will need to be redone.
