Three dips on two different corals and cleaned but did not stop BJD.
Did 3 separate dips on 2 corals a torch colony and a hammer. While it cleaned the coral well it did not prevent Brown Jelly Disease from spreading to additional heads. I bought both the big bottle and the shot sized. I followed the directions on the bottle to the letter except for the last treatment which I extended the dip time recommended by 2 min. Nitrates 12 phos .06 alk 8.5. Gonna try metroplex in a separate small tank to try and save the torch. This product was pretty much a waste of time and money.

Expensive for only one time use
Thought I could use it for dipping a lot of corals I purchased over time. The bottle is only for ONE TIME 1 gallon mix! I don't want to spend $16 on each time I buy a coral to dip. Even if you do only 1/4 gallon each time, that is only for 4 times! I can get other good dips for much cheaper. If you really want to buy reef primer, buy 180 g one. DO NOT BUY this small one. It is a rip off!

confused
I am confused, Mix all in 1 gallon of water and what? can I store it or do I need to use entire gallon at once? I cannot find any instructions anywhere, so the product is pointless to me. go with something you dont have to mix and have clear instructions.

Kills multiple types of pests
This kills way more pests than using Bayer insecticide. I had a lot of planaria on some hammers and my bounce mushrooms. After dipping per directions, I got hundreds of them off my expensive coral. I haven't used it on any sps coral - yet.

Great dip, was very gentle on my corals. No pests made it into the tank so canโt fault it.
