The sound quality is fantastic
I paid £198 for this speaker. It might sound expensive but it’s well worth it.The sound is fantastic as good as my very expensive technics music system which is complicated to tune and I might add troublesome. This Alexa is easy to set up.Easy to operate and so easy to connect to any radio station. It comes into its own when I connect Spotify no messy connection unlike the music system. Not sure how old the unit is as it was purchased as refurbished. So the only downside I don’t actually know how old it is thus I’m unsure of the longevity of the unit. However I have 4 other standard Alex’s which I’ve had for many years without any issues so I suppose I’ve not much to worry about so I should just get on and listen to the excellent music it generates.Highly recommended

Quality speaker at a good price.
Got this as an Amazon return for £108.00. - it had no marks or flaws that I could see.The sound is really good and fills the room - you can adjust the Bass, Mid range and Treble in the Alexa App.The voice recognition software is also a lot better than the old echoes which sometimes wouldn't respond if you had the music on loud., this Studio has only done that a couple of times so far and I've had it about 3 months. So far so good really pleased with it - especially for the price (their over £200 for a new one)

Buggy but brilliant
My set-up: A projector using a 4K Firestick connected by the home theatre setup to Amazon Studio. I also use it extensively for music.Positives:The sound. I have had all of the echo devices over the years and this isn't even in the same lineup in terms of sound quality. For music its gorgeous, full and encompassing. Great sound quality. For movies the dolby atmos is just simply stunning. I watched an episode of Witcher and the experience was an absolute revelation. Its hard to describe just how different and better it is than the already very decent Bose Soundbar I have. Connection to the home theatre is easy, and of course you have all of the usual alexa echo benefits. On this basis I would buy it again on its own - indeed I'll be getting an additional one for another room this year.Negatives:If you haven't read the positives then do so - it may seem like I don't like the product when I do.Working on its own the 4K Firestick never misses a beat and is for all intents and purposes a perfect product. Working on its own so is the Amazon Studio. Brilliant. Putting them together however severely degrades the experience of both products for a number of reasons:1) There is no separate volume control for music and home cinema. They also have pretty different levels. That means you are turning the music up and down when switching between uses(although not by a lot).2) It's very very buggy, especially when using Dolby Atmos. You get freezes of the firestick which need resetting probably once every 2 - 4 hours. Irritating.3) You get freezes of the Studio so no sound comes out. As the setting choices are low this means you end up resetting one or both of the devices to get it back working again. I've found a bit of a workaround but its still not good. Again that happens every 2 - 4 hours in addition to the firestick freezes. Very irritating.4) The sound drops every 30 minutes to an hour in Dolby Atmos for a couple of seconds before picking up again. Mildly irritating. It feels to me like the effort being made on the software linking the fire stick with the studio is not enough. It needs quite a bit of bug fixing. When that happens however its going to be my top product of the year because even with all those problems its one hell of a product at a price point less than half of comparable Dolby Atmos soundbars that are Alexa enabled.

Great speaker
I’ve had an echo dot plugged into my separates for years and wanted to look at wireless options. Went through all of them and this was by far the best option for sound/money comparison.Ended up buy another one to make a stereo pair and bought the matching sub as wellPlenty of headroom, great quality sound and adjustability through the Alexa app and an Alexa built in so no the echo dot is in the bedroom.Very happy.

Does what it says on the tin
It is what it is. I bought a ‘reconditioned’ one. So had been returned for some reason but was on offer at a good discount. No marks or damage. The packaging was thought woeful in the extreme. Just a flimsy box with no padding. So bad that the post office had popped the box in a plastic bag. This said. I’ve got Amazon speakers already and the setting up was simple. It does everything it should do. As far as sound quality is concerned, it is more than acceptable. But ‘rubbish in rubbish out’ as they say. Most albums I’ve played from Amazon Prime have been of very good sound quality. But the odd one has been ‘crap’. I don’t put that down to the speaker. So in general. Base is not excessive, with a good overall range. It is in the kitchen, works well there, and very good for a sub £200 price.

Great sound
This is a nice looking, solidly built unit which I have in my kitchen where the 360 speaker sound really shines through.Excellent bass sound and no issues with Alexa responding. One thing to be aware is that not all songs have the full 360 sound effect, have this unit in the centre of a room and it will easily fill that room with sound but sometimes you will hear a song which appears to be coming from several locations around the unit which is clever but like I say not all song are recorded that way.I was hesitant at first as it is a decent chunk on money but I would say it is well worth it.
