Worked its magic on a mirror
Scratched a mirror during fitting. I could feel the scratch with a fingernail, so not expecting to get rid of it completely. Following the mix instructions to the letter, I had three goes. I used foam pads in an electric drill to do the rubbing, starting with a coarse pad and about 60 minutes of 'buffing'. It does appear important to keep the mix warm, I have no idea why but less effect with a cold mix. I then used the least coarse pad, similar mix and another 60 minutes. This is my process: Buff the mix over the damage. As the mix starts to dry, add more to keep the mix liquid, not dry. After three additions of mix, allow to dry and wipe off the residue. Repeat. I reckon I used about 10 mixes overall and to my amazement, it was possible to see the scratch reduce after each 3 buffings. The scratch cannot now be seen at all, and no sign of 'bloom' on the glass. Fantastic. I guess you could do the buffing by hand but I let me drill take the strain.

Good product
My take on the PROUNOL Cerium Oxide 50g – Fine Grade Glass Polishing Solution Powder: Pros: High Purity: With a TREO (Total Rare Earth Oxide) content of 99%, it's of high industrial standard, ensuring effective polishing. Fine Particle Size: At 2.5 microns, it's ideal for fine polishing, giving glass surfaces a perfect shine. Versatility: Suitable for various glass types, from car windows and headlights to mirrors and glass facades, making it a multi-purpose tool for glass restoration. Cost-Effective: Buying in powder form can be more economical than pre-mixed solutions, especially for frequent users. Cons: Preparation Required: You need to mix it with water at the right temperature (30°C - 50°C) for optimal performance, which takes some extra effort and time. Messy: Handling powder can be messy, and there's a risk of inhalation if not used carefully. Skill Level: Achieving the best results might require some practice, as over-polishing can potentially damage the glass. In summary, PROUNOL Cerium Oxide Powder is great for high-quality glass polishing but requires some skill and preparation for best results.

Needs an electric polisher
Bought to remove very slight scratching, caused by use, on our induction hob. Followed instructions, but it has only made a very small difference, despite putting a lot of effort into polishing. Think it would probably work better with an electric polisher.

Not worth it and very messy
Terrible product - messy when mixing with water if you can guess the mox right - use gloves as it can go all over your hands - After applying to w of my watches and my iphone - no improvement - don't waste money and time (spent more time cleaning up after)

Very good product 👍🏻
Wasn't sure what to expect, windscreen of car was scratched and scraped by ice scrapers I'm guessing (second hand car) couldn't see out of it yesterday in the rain, gave this a go and worked wonders, did it with a cloth and my packed lunch tub after work!! Gonna buy a buffee for the drill and finish it properly for the odd minor mark

Effective product but a small quantity and a misleading photo.
I've given this 2 stars as the listing photo is incredibly misleading. The photo shows a full tin, but the tin I received was virtually empty! The product weight was probably correct, and the product seemed fine, but there was only enough for one treatment. There are certainly more cost-effective products available.
