Bought this talking parrot as a Christmas present for a friends 5 year old we visited. He liked it better than all the other stuff Farther Christmas brought him.... played with it all day and kept it by him for weeks.

Bought for our 6 Yr old grandson who loves it. Easy to use and great fun.

This is a fun little toy and it does exactly what it is meant to do, it repeats sounds and voices in a cute way. It is well sized, nicely made, and kids find it funny straight away. The voice repeating works reliably and, surprisingly, it is quite quiet compared to similar toys. It does not scream or make harsh noises, which makes it much more tolerable to have around the house. It is still a novelty toy, so it is best enjoyed in short play sessions, but it does not become annoying quickly because the volume is fairly low. Overall, it is a good little gift and a lot more pleasant than expected. Ideal if you want something fun without it being overly noisy.

Bought as a present. Item came in clear sealable plastic bag. Batteries not included. Test was good. As this is for young children, careful with what you say. Fairly soft. A good fun and humour for kids.

Cute animal which talks back and replays sounds whenever turns on Wings stopped flapping after first day which was disappointing Still fun but not overly durable I suspect with younger ones (ages 5 & 7)

We bought this to entertain the children in a family, ages 7-11. It was such a success, we had to tell the adults to keep their hands off until the children went to bed! They tried to send them to bed early, but we glared at them fiercely and they backed off. Later, the adults got as much of a laugh out of it as the children had. Fortunately, I was the last one up that night, and thought to play the current recording, knowing that the children would be going straight for it in the morning. That last recording (by the adults) was not child-rated!! So here's your warning: When it gets put down for the night where there are children in the house, check its latest message so you can be sure it will start the next day with a child-suitable message. Also, be sure to have 3 fresh triple-A batteries on hand when it arrives so that you don't have to wait to use it. P.S. When you're checking that final message, the one that the children could hear first in the morning, there's nothing wrong with you recording, 'You have made your bed, right?' or 'Have you brushed your teeth?' :-)

Doesn't work, so can't really review it.

I wasn't sure if my 2 1/2 grandson would love this or be afraid of it but it was hysterical. He ended up talking to it and jumping ip and down flapping his arms like the parrot flaps it's wings. He even said sorry to it when he accidentally knocked it over. Not sure how long it would last but it was worth the fun
