SMooth and Bullet proof
This stuff is mixed to a smooth consistency. I have built a few kilns or forges and love this stuff for a top skim layer or smooth finish layer. I always put a decent 1/2 thick layer on the floor of the forge as this satinite is extremely heat retardant where other kiln cements breakdown this stuff last a long time and easy to apply. Great for repairs as well.

From what I've seen, this product is ok; I'm not sure that it was worth the money, though. When I opened the package, the seals had been broken, and the contents had started to leak and harden. Luckily most of the mix was still useable by that point.

Good stuff
Great stuff. Premixed, spreads well, dries hard. Shipped faster than expected. Used in a propane forge, holding up pretty good so far.

It worked great, setup slow even in 90 degree weather, gets rock hard, perfect for my Blacksmith forge I’m making.
