Furniture saver!
This is the second time that I have purchased these and I am really impressed with the effectiveness the quality and how easy they are to install. They definitely help protect my furniture from my cat claws when they are running around on the furniture. The only downfall is that of course fur or fuzz does get stuck on them so you do need to reapply them from time to time because then you can see that they are on the furniture otherwise they really are not noticeable at all. They are very durable and the cats have not been able to remove them or punch holes in them to actually damage the furniture and I also like that they don’t damage the furniture when you take them off and reapply them

Works great and easy to install
Works great. My cat doesn’t like the feel of it, so she avoids it at all costs. It was extremely easy to install. It was a little on the pricey side, however since it works so well I would definitely purchase it again. It is thin, I thought for the price it would be thicker, but again it works. My girl is definitely not attracted to it at all, she avoids it. It fits great on my furniture. Would stand up to scratching if my cat tried to!

Too sticky on outside
I purchased this because I got a new electric recliner and I have cats that think my furniture can be their scratching post. I feel like it’s efficient enough, but I really am not happy with the fact that it’s sticky on both sides because everything in my living room that floats or flies sticks to it and it’s really ugly. I wish they made something that was like what I got for my leather furniture that smooth on one side more like a vinyl it is sufficient for now but it looks like I’m gonna have to be replacing it about once every 4 to 6 weeks because it just gets nasty dirty.

Works as intended!
I bought these sheets back in 2021, and I finally went through all the sheets I had--I came back to reorder, and figured the least I could do is leave a review! These honestly have made a huge difference in the scratching habits of my cats. Overall I've been fortunate to have little general issues with my cats scratching my couch, but sometimes they get a wild hair and I use these to deter claws in my furniture.Pros:-Easy to use, you can cut them to sizes you may need or shapes you may need.-They work! Cats almost immediately stopped scratching when I applied them.-Long-lasting--usually it takes one or two interactions with the tape for cats to get the idea.Cons:-Things can and will stick to them once they're applied. Blankets, clothes, etc. If you're planning on placing this stuff in a high-traffic area, I'd maybe consider using the plastic sheets with pins instead. Panther makes a version of these.-In addition to sticking to clothes, the tape did pull out some fur from my cats if they stood on the tape or brushed up against it. Not ripping anything out mind you, but it will pull some loose hair out, and that can be a little gross looking.-Not all surfaces are created equal--I had some cheap curtains that the tape will not come off of. They were affordable enough I can replace them, but something to keep in mind if you plan on using these on curtains.

Save your $$
Works until the sticky wears out, which doesn't take long. Not very thick and the durability depends on the cat's claws.

One complaint, but works great!
I'm putting this at the start in case the company checks reviews - on the product sheet insert, the company thanks customers for not declawing their cats. This is a great message, except as shown in the second image of my review, it uses a photo of a cat getting their claws trimmed to illustrate the point. While I'd like to think people understand it's just a picture, I've actually met cat owners who declawed their cats and believed it was as harmless as a normal nail trim with a nail clipper. What would be far better than misrepresenting the declawing procedure would be explaining what it does to a cat - for anyone unfamiliar, a cat's claws are fully integrated into their skeletal structure so declawing them is the mechanical equivalent of losing your fingertips, NOT your fingernails. It can seriously affect their balance and causes a lot of mental stress for some cats. A nail clipper, if designed for cats and kept away from the nail bed (or the "quick") is a safe and humane tool in contrast - and keeping claws trimmed can even encourage some cats to use healthy sharpening toys like scratching posts!!That said, the product is great so far! There's no real scent, and the packaging is GREAT, no unnecessary waste! Reading the instructions was quick, and applying the sheet was a breeze. My cat (see photo 3 for the accused hiding on a shelf) was never a furniture destroyer so this is my first time needing a product like this, but in her old age (going on 15-16) she'll chew and swallow sisal fibers compulsively so I had to switch out her traditional wrapped scratching post for one with knitted sisal. Sufficed to say she isn't pleased by the new fancy post and instead began using the corner of my bed to scratch. I have linen sheets so at the beginning this didn't damage them (pro tip for other cat owners: linen's weave is loose enough that claws will rarely snag on threads!) but after four months of not being able to get her to pay attention to the scratching post, even linen fell prey to her little claws and she tore a little hole in the fitted sheet last week. So, enter the panther tape! I applied a mid-size sheet to the area she goes for (corner of my bed, check the first review photo!) and put the scratching post closer to it as incentive. It's a little noticeable if your furniture is front facing, but if you're like me and want to use this on your bed, the stickiness that's on the outside isn't as strong as the adhesive on the inside, so you can safely hide it under a duvet or flat sheet. I'll update my review at the one month mark, when I plan to take the sheet off and see if my cat's lost interest! If not, there are plenty more sheets in the package, and in three different sizes, so it's a great value for the cost.

Easy to stick on/adjust (cut)
*UPDATE 2.11.24Cats managed to rip off some of the tape, the areas are though a little more tricky for the tape to stay on good or I just didn't push it on good enough. The couch cover is also slipping more than I'd like to, so it's easy for them to "work on" that tape. My orange tabby managed to get his hair stuck to the tape, he loves to rub against my furniture, legs, couch etc. So no surprise there. Most of the corners they had destroyed before I covered, they now leave alone. I will replace the damaged tape and see if they manage to rip it off again. My cats have no fear other than the vaccum cleaner and my mop. They even don't mind foil on the counters and rather chew on it. So, if the tape won't work for mine, doesn't mean it won't work for others. Trying to upload more pictures of the damaged tape soon, currently giving me issues to upload.I wish I would've started to train my cats sooner, despite them having scratching posts, chew toys/sticks they managed to literally destroy my couch and ottoman on several corners. Finally bought covers and to avoid them from doing the same to my covers I purchased this training tape (way too late).Love that it comes in 3 different sizes for larger areas! Easy to peel off and stick on. Definitely pay attention to what fabric you have, it is super sticky. Will report back in a few weeks if I remember to and update on how it is working out! So far I like how invisible it is on my lighter couch cover, definitely more visible on darker fabric, but it doesn't bother me since it is for a good cause!!So far, would buy again!

Effective and Practical Couch Scratch Deterrent for Cats
As a cat owner, I have been struggling for quite some time to find a solution to prevent my furry friend from scratching my couch. Thankfully, I stumbled across a couch scratch deterrent specifically designed for cats, and I have been pleased with its effectiveness.Firstly, what impressed me the most about this product is its simplicity in design. It consists of transparent adhesive sheets that can be easily applied to the areas of the couch most prone to scratching. The sheets blend seamlessly with the couch, and they are barely noticeable. This feature is great for those who want to preserve the aesthetics of their furniture while minimizing damage caused by their cats. The adhesive sheets are thick enough to withstand even the most vigorous scratching attempts. This is vital as other products I've tried in the past would get easily torn, rendering them ineffective. With this deterrent, my couch has remained unscathed even after months of use.One thing to note is that the deterrent may need reapplication after a certain period of time. The manufacturer recommends replacing the adhesive sheets every three to four weeks, depending on the cat's scratching behavior. Although this may seem like a drawback, the affordability of replacement sheets eases any concerns about the ongoing cost. Moreover, the deterrent is entirely harmless to both cats and furniture. It does not involve any unpleasant odors or get in the way of daily activities. I also appreciate the fact that it does not leave any residue or damage the couch when removed. In terms of effectiveness, the deterrent has undeniably reduced scratching significantly. My cat was initially deterred by the sticky surface and quickly learned to avoid the protected areas. Over time, she formed new scratching habits in more appropriate locations, such as a designated scratching post. While this couch scratch deterrent is effective, practical, and reasonably priced, it does have a minor drawback in terms of the duration of its effectiveness. However, this can be easily dealt with by staying on top of the replacement schedule. All in all, this product has truly reduced my cat's interest in scratching my couch and provided a much-needed solution to protecting my furniture. In conclusion, I highly recommend this couch scratch deterrent for any cat owner who is seeking a simple and efficient solution to preserve their couch from their cat's scratching tendencies. It strikes the right balance between effectiveness, practicality, and affordability, making it an excellent investment for both you and

Inutile
Produit totalement inutile. 20€ de perdus.

Far Exceeded my Expectations. Amazing Idea
I’ve gotta be honest, I was doubting that this would work at all to prevent my cat from scratching my bed and what not. I was wrong - this is insanely effective. The immediate moment I put them on and since then, my cat hasn’t scratched my bed or the walls, or bit any cables. Anywhere this stuff is she avoids which is actually impressive and exceeded my expectations. It’s just double sided tape in essence, but the idea is brilliant. She also has a tendency to bite cables and jump at outlets (kitten still that’s why), so I also cut some pieces with an open area for the outlet, and she no longer attacks those. Also for cables I cut thin strips off and wrapped it around the cable, worked to stop that as well. The corners of the walls she would bite, she no longer does. This worked far better than I thought it would and I am highly impressed. It does exactly what it says it would do + some if you get a little crafty. Amazing product, would highly recommend this to anyone with a cat who likes to bite everything.P.S: I should note that this is my experience with my kitten, it may not be as effective for your cat/kitten. For $40 though, you can’t go wrong trying it to see if it’ll work. If it doesn’t, now you have giant double sided tape!

Life changer
I bought a new sofa and my cat liked one of the corners a little bit too much hehe. I put this sticky tape and voilá! That was the solution! You can't even notice it and my cat was never again even close to the spot. It was there for about 2 months now and it looks like the first day. Awesome product!
