This shoulder rest is well worth the money. The cushioning is great and the angle is perfect. It is also adjustable so as to make it perfect for everyone's style and comfort. Very impressed with this rest, it is very well made.

This is a really great product! I would recommend because of the quality of the materials and how stable it is when I use it. This shoulder rest comes talk, so I don't know how people with short necks will find it as comfy as i feel it. It's rather flat, then comparing to a Kun shoulder rest. You have to tinker with the feet to get your fitting. The boxing for the package was a good experience, too. In the end, it's a comfortable shoulder rest!

This is a well made shoulder rest, but it is pretty low, and ended up too low for me. I would say it is lower than medium, as it is lower than Kun rests, and also lower than the Everest collapsible rest, which ended up fitting me best. I definitely need a medium height with my violin and chin rest set-up. Hope this helps!

Though I have secured the rest to the violin after a few minutes of playing the rest falls off. I think the rubber on the feet is not gripping enough to stay on. Otherwise it's comfortable.

Not as good as I expected.Pros: it’s beautiful, looks very elegant on my instrument. It’s also very light, probably the lightest shoulder rest I’ve owned.Cons: it’s not very comfortable. I’ve tried adjusting it every which way but it’s not the best when it comes to comfort. Feels kind of hard. It’s not very tall, which is a problem for me because I’m a tall skinny person with a long neck. I keep finding myself raising my shoulder to bring the instrument closer to my head. This is very bad posture for playing and leads to back pain. When you unscrew the legs to make it taller, they get kind of loose and turn too easily, feels like they’re going to fall out. It doesn’t seem to stay on my instrument very well, since I keep adjusting my position it slowly starts to slip off. I will play around with feet from other shoulder rests and see if the problem improves. So close to being a good shoulder rest, but just missed the mark for me. I’ll update this review as I use it more and see if I get accustomed to it.Edit: I added a star because I decided to put some taller feet from a different shoulder rest on it. Definitely works much better for me. The manufacturers website has taller feet you can buy if needed.

Fantastic chin rest. Learned of it from Yu Chien Tseng’s performances in the Tchaikovsky competition. Very easy to customize the position of this chin rest.

I've been playing the violin professionally for over 30 years and this shoulder rest has the best sound by far. Because the main material is maple, it resonates better than any other rest I've used. This particular model has the most versatility due to the adjustable angle of the feet. The fact that the feet collapse is a definite plus for storage in cramped cases. It's well crafted and I've experienced this brand lasting nearly 20 years before needing replacement. I highly recommend this shoulder rest.

This is great! I have a short neck and could never find anything that would go low enough but this has offered that option and is very comfortable as well. I am very glad I purchased this.
