This stuff worked great! If you have the luxury of a little extra time or a heated garage or heat gun I’d take advantage of it because it does take more time than one might think for it to cure. I pretty much used a whole tube (smaller size order option) but I also laid it on thick around the collar area where the muffler meets the exhaust. I live in the northeast so it’s been cold and I wanted the extra strength for the long winter complete with caustic road salts, moisture and frost heaves. It was a great fix to get me over the hump until spring! J-B Weld is a great company with great products!

Worked great for my application however, it cracks on moving joints. Still sealed my exhaust very nicely.

Used this J-B Weld MufflerSeal to fix a small leak in my car’s muffler, and it worked really well. The cement is thick and easy to apply, and it sets up quickly. Once it cured, the leak was completely sealed and it’s holding up perfectly even under heat and vibration. Definitely a good, affordable solution if you need a quick muffler repair without replacing the whole part.

Works great. I used it on a muffler Crack and it sealed and is much quieter now. Highly recommend.

I bought this twice. The first time it was great. But I did not know how to use. You should apply as thick as you can. This does seal the leak. However the stuff becomes brittle and I recommend wrapping it with some exhaust wrap tape after curing or before. Let it dry completely before use. Second time, it came very dry already and was hard to get out the tube. Did not flow easy and was like clay instead of the earlier one, more like toothpaste.

It worked perfect for my car

I put a flowmaster muffler on my truck and the pipe was a little bigger. So I used the j-b weld muffler seal. It works very well it's been 4 years and no leak.

Alors oui ca coute un bras mais c'est vraiment efficace pour le coup. Utilisé pour colmater un trou dans mon silencieux intermédiaire sur une Golf, juste frotté un peu avec une brosse sur la visseuse et soudé une plaque vite fait avec un mig et j'ai tout rebouché au JB Weld. Il faut juste attendre un peu que ca prenne et laisser chauffer pour que ca se solidifie. on peut aider avec un décapeur thermique mais si le temps est sec on peut juste le laisser quelques heures voire la nuit et le lendemain ca aura pris et ce sera étanche, j'ai économisé 400 balles
