My 7 year old grandson enjoyed flying this kite. It was easy to put together and everything you needed to fly it was included.

The media could not be loaded. My 8 year old son flew his new shark kite at the beach today and he really didn't need my help to get it in the air. It just seems to take off on its own. We did have some good steady wind though and we got it very high. When the wind was calmer, it was not as easy, but I think this is true with any kite. I do have to say that it was easier then most kites I have flown as a child at the beach. Easy to control and it finds the wind perfectly. We didn't notice any nose diving. It did fall tail down most of the time if the wind dropped. Otherwise, it stayed in the air. The string was strong enough to withstand the toughest of wind we got later in the day. It was also very easy to put together with the directions, but it might be more helpful for some if they labeled the sticks. It is a strong kite though and the stitches are strong enough to hold up for many flights. It definitely holds the sticks well.Even with no wind, I think it would be enjoyable for any child to run with this kite because it's just a fun kite! The beautiful colors looked so amazing in the sky. We will hang the kite in my son's room too, when not in use. It's really eye catching and unique!Definitely try it out with no worries. Just be patient with the wind and go out a different day if you aren't successful the first time.

This kite did amazing on the beach!

As far as the product. Very sturdy and held up against the wind at the beach. We were hoping to fly it high and once we got it high enough we could tie it off and us it as a marker at the beach. With this kite, there is some skill involved in flying. Tying it off is not an option.

Exactly as described

The instructions photo did not quite match with the kite and attaching the string was nearly impossible and quite painful on my hands. But it is a kite, so eventually one gets it and it can be flown.

Really good quality, and it flys very nicely -just like a good kite should. The string is plenty long and of good quality; the winder is good enough and works well too. I wouldn’t be afraid to buy this at all -very durable. ‘Just needs some better directions or some may really struggle. It’s not obvious to bend the tube after slipping the first end into the fabric pocket and then catch the second end on the edge of its bracket and work it in. It probably takes more strength and dexterity than most children (and more than a few adults) could muster. 'Really is a nice kite -just be a little clever getting the final tubes in place.

We assembled and got this kite airborne pretty quickly. My 4 year old grandson had a great time (once his dad got it up in the air).Good purchase.Couldn’t find assembly instructions with the kit but we sorted it out ok.
