Excellent, concise, well documented
Apart from typos this (and Bane's other books) are marvels of catalogue. These are unique in that they refrain from speculation and fancy to offer a bare-bones catalogue helping researchers, writers, creatives & the curious to establish a baseline of what is considered "correct" according to original/basic sources. An excellent starting point & fallback.

A good resource for world design
As an RPG gamer, a lot of the games I have played have a lot of names from myths and most of them are from places. After looking up the items that I have hear in a lot of games I learned a good deal to work with in building my own game worlds to present to my players to play. One of the best things about world design is talking info about a place and using that to create something more believable which breathes life into the world. With this book, you can get the information needed to do that.I would highly recommend that anyone who is looking world building of any kind and want to put some places in, this book is an excellent resource for that.
