These pens write much better than they should. The thickness is perfect (big hands) and they feel very solid. They make great gifts because people think they must be much more expensive than they actually are. And they're useful.

I bought these because I have a hard time with smaller pens. They are a bit cumbersome in the pocket, but they write great. Really helps with fatigue and grip issues from arthritis and tendon issue.

A nice hefty pen, writes smoothly, and comes with several refills. Cannot speak to the durability, have not had it 24 hours, yet.

What I love about the pen ... I love the twist to reveal the pen head for writing. I love the sturdiness of the pen. The clip is very sturdy as well. What I hate about the pen ... It is fat. It sticks out like a sore thumb. And the window breaker tip sticks out even more. This is the pen that will bulge through any pocket you put it in. And if you leave it on a table it draws attention to itself. The exact opposite of what you want in a tactical pen. If you were to use this as a emergency weapon of last resort, the pen is so fat it would cause any blow you gave to be blunted. You would be better off using the window breaker tip (that is long enough to break the skin) to attack with instead of using the pen point of the pen. It is just to blunt to do any damage. This is the pen you keep in your vehicle(s). Not the tactical pen you would keep on your person most of the time.

I am a huge fan of these pens. I hand them out as gifts, keep several around my house and vehicles. I like the blue medium refills. Good weight and feel in the hand. Solid open/close twist. I have added a touch of locktite to the top on one or two. No biggie

I like that you can write with it without having to take the pen apart. The pens come as a pair one black and one shiny silver. I take the silver one with me on dressy occasions and carry the black one daily. The pens write well and the cartridges are a good size. The carbide tip is at the top of the pen ready to use at all times. This prevents you from putting your thumb over the end while forward striking though useful for a backhand blow. Nice to have it ready for window breaking. The clip is wide and strong enough to hold it even in a back trouser pocket. I really like them and have given pens to my wife and a friend who is interested in personal protection. Very good product. Inexpensive. I think it should last along time. I highly recommend it.

I bought these pens for use at work.Im a mechanic and most pens don’t last a day,they are great for quick notes and work in the cold and wet they are quite thick and have a strong clip,they are a little heavy for extended use but for tough jobs this is the pen you need

This is a really great pen if you want that tactical look. Just based on weight and how they came (one of the tips was crooked) these are good pens as long as you aren't looking for extensive, extreme use. Something tells me they aren't truly made out of tungsten, as they are very light (aluminum is more likely). I have not had the misfortune of testing the emergency glass spike yet, but I has some weight behind it. I don't doubt its ability. The pen itself work very well. It glides across the paper super gently. Importantly though, because of the taper on both ends, it's hard to fish out of a breast pocket. The package came with 2 or 3 refills, that I don't doubt will last a long time. Overall, a great deal for the $13 CAD.
