I bought the cards in a set of three to have them as my granddaughter continues to learn. I am not disappointed in the least! What a great product, taking a simple concept further and then another step further. You have the sturdy, brightly colored cards with terrific graphics that have multiple options for making learning easier. The cards have a solid hole so it can take being taken off the key ring for various options in practicing the letter, color, number or shape.When I learned my granddaughter needed a little extra time reviewing what they had covered in class I researched what was available on Amazon. I remember simple white cards with black letters period! I used them from the alphabet to division helping to increase my confidence level quite a bit. If I could learn from black and white, wow!!! These flash cards are deluxe!I can’t say enough about how helpful these flash cards are. They are super sturdy to handle the temper tantrum when my granddaughter didn’t get a card correct. The ability to separate the cards allows you to shuffle the letters, make piles for cards they know and card that need more practice… the creativity is endless but not a endless cleanup at the end. The bright colors help you organize the cards into various game options encouraging creativity and memorization. The graphics are easy to read and interpret, many times there are multiple samples of pictures all starting with the same letter. If the picture looked like something different to the child, you could point out the other samples to clarify the starting letter.If you can’t tell how excited I am about these cards then you should have seen the smile on my face as my granddaughter gave me a hug for getting a recent test all correct. Her enthusiasm for learning more has grown as well as her self concept.Bought 4 sets so they can go in the car for long car rides. One set to her moms house, one to to dads and one set to Nana’s! We all use them deferentially so my granddaughter doesn’t get bored. They will get passed on to a cousin because they are made to endure childhood.

Love the cards and the idea. My grandbaby had the book, so I got the flash cards; cute idea. The clip opens, however and the cards get everywhere. Not happy with that

The book makes more sense where the babies all call the items MAMA but putting MAMA and the word of the actual item on the same side is odd. I think to teach a baby words the word WAFFLE should be under the picture with the animal holding the waffle not on the reverse side. All cards are like this. There is no HAT on the picture with the word HAT and no balloon on the picture with the word BALLOON. They are designed with the written words on the opposite side of the item. Teaching a baby to read would be better to see the correct item with the word. Overall construction of the cards is very good with thick cardboard and good graphics. Plastic ring is cheap and opens easily so I will need to replace (or pick up the cards from the floor all the time). I will keep because this is a favorite book of my grandchild but would not recommend.

Well, not all cards are saying "mama" lol. I don't mind too much since my 10MO has no idea, but I can imagine it being a problem for some other people.

My son loves this bought it for him to learn the words and sounds for each animal. Now when he sees it he will pick it up and make one of the sounds instantly and brings it to me to do the animal sounds for him

I like how the illustrations were the same as the illustrations from the books...consistency which is helpful to early learning!
