Fits 13 lb cat, comfortable, multiple straps for carrying, spacious, ventilated, top or side entry
Purchased this last minute the night before my husband was going to take our cat to the vet.Our cat is a fluffy, 13 lb boy, but it is a PAIN trying to get him into a normal cat crate. This new carrier fits ALL of our needs. When I first opened the package, I was very impressed! It seems high-quality. Very sturdy. It stays standing by itself and doesn't "sink" or fold into itself. You have the option to unzip one of the sides to put the cat in (horizontally) or you can unzip the top part and put the cat in that way... which makes it SO MUCH EASIER and time-efficient and less of a pain. The "floor" on the inside of the carrier is soft and fluffy (not sure what the material is), which I figure makes things comfier for the cat. We always had to put a towel in the hard carriers... but no more! Also, there are multiple straps for carrying - similar to a duffel bag. You can use the long strap or the two handle straps that are attached. This was roomy enough for our 13 lb cat. His weight didn't cause it to sink down in the middle or anything like that. It was also well ventilated with the multiple mesh "windows".I can't speak to how the zippers hold up if your kitty tries to escape, as we have never had that issue with any of our cats. I read many reviews on different carriers where that was a concern. I CAN, however, say that each part of the carrier seems sturdy, along with the zippers. I know the product details mention that the zippers are basically "escape-proof", and I would not be surprised if that is the truth.I order from Amazon FREQUENTLY and rarely leave reviews, but I felt obligated for this one because it not only affects you, but it also affects your kitty/pet! Hope this helps!

Nice little carrier-Green/sea foam and black color
I swore I’d never use a soft carrier again, but this one won me over. It isn’t perfect, but it’s working well.I needed this smaller xpcarrier.I have a different large canvas and metal frame folding crate that I bought for my cats, not realizing just how big it was (later reviews stated they were huge, the small could fit a 40 lb dog 😂).I’m glad to have it, as I can put both cats in there and fit a small litter box if I ever had to load the car and leave quickly in an environmental emergency, or for moving...but I needed a regular-sized carrier for the vet, that large one is for travel or emergency use only.Enter this mesh and canvas black and green carrier:I have a female calico torte that’s about 12 lbs, and a male Siberian/Hemingway that’s 15-16 lbs and fairly long. This carrier just fits my larger male cat. It’s not too small, he can turn around in there and it’s perfect for quick trips to the vet. But be aware, that he *just* fits. I’d return it if it wasn’t comfortable or it seemed too short (height is just fine), but it’s not roomy for him, he can turn around easily and lay down in it. So it works. If fits my smaller 12-13lbs female cat great, she has a little extra space. It’s lightweight, but not flimsy. The mesh seems like it won’t fall apart too easily from cats plucking or scratching at it.The bottom is firm when the cats weight is in the carrier, so you can support it from the bottom and wear the shoulder strap/or use the top handles if you want.I went and had a piece of MDF cut to fit in the bottom, then placed the pad on top. I put an old hand towel down because it’s easier to wash than the inserts are. This created a firm, solid bottom for the carrier. However, this wasn’t necessary, I just happened to have MDF laying around and my dad cut it for me.Corrugated plastic cut to size could work also. Again, it’s not necessary,I just thought it would add a bit more firmness/stability to the bottom. The cats weight when inside the carrier is evenly distributed on top of the includedpad/ insert that fits in there, it creates a solid underside for the carrier. You can hold it from the bottom this way without adding anything to it like i did.

Sturdy well made and easy!
This carrier was the answer to my prayers! I just used it today to take my 10 lb chihuahua to the vet for a pedicure. It is so nice!! She went in it with ease (even though she didn’t want to) and the battle was lessened because of the huge front zip part. When I got there I used the top zipper to lift her right out! The floor is comfortable and sturdy and the straps are convenient with a shoulder strap and a hand strap. I wish I would’ve had this the past 15 years with my other chihuahua. Going to the vet is never easy, but this carry case made it that way, Highly recommend if you’re shopping for one of these to just stop right here and purchase this one!

Good for traveling in car and taking cats to vet
The media could not be loaded. This carrier is awesome. I got it for my cat Larry because I was taking him to school for the semester and it was a 2:30 hour drive. I loved the slot where you could put the car seatbelt through because I wanted him to be safe. The connection to a collar/harness was nice too, it allowed him to look out a bit, and it held him in nice when he wanted to escape until he got out of the harness one time lol. The wire in the frame is nice too so it's sturdy enough but still quite soft and I like the side pocket. The straps for hand and over the shoulder are also quite nice. I'm very happy with this purchase and my senior cat who's 17, Sammie, likes it more than the plastic vet carriers and feels more secure. Also, to put it plainly, Larry is fat, he had to be put on a diet, he wasn't too obese but it can fit like an actual adult cat, and 2 SMALL cats. But yeah.
