Changes in design are not always for the best!
I bought these as a replacement for previous pair which is worn out. I can't say that I'm wildly happy and was in two minds whether or not to return them [I'm now wishing that I had!]. Over the years I have had numerous pairs of this design but this pair is distinctly different and I feel that corners are being cut which aren't beneficial to the product or for the wearer.Despite the strap still being leather [a bonus] the foot bed seems to have different contouring ~ the Microwobbleboard midsole is still there but it feels cheaper and the support it provides feels more rigid; the sizing is slightly different too especially with regards to the width [definitely narrower].If you have bought the previous design and have wider feet then this 'new' design may not fit you in width, I feel that the company have made them slimmer to the detriment of comfort.Pity, because this has always been my "go to" product for indoor summer-wear, unfortunately I will be looking for an alternative when they need replacing.

... about 10 years ago and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever had
I bought my first pair of Fitflops about 10 years ago and they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I wore them all the time - even outside in the winter time.I recently reluctantly had to throw them out as they were falling apart.I've had two further pairs over the years, but neither are very comfortable - the grip between the toes rubs so you can't wear them for very long. This model has proved to be an improvement but still not as comfy as that original pair. They are good quality, well made and long lasting however!.

Very comfy sandal if you buy correct size.
The shoe is very comfortable to walk on but errs on the slightly small side - I am a 6 1/2 and ordered this size but think a 7 would be a better fit. The toe-post is the issue as not enough height to slide toes through and walk comfortably for along time. Rubbed a raw patch on toe so unable to wear it for the rest of my holiday as a blister developed. Now wearing it daily at home to stretch leather in the hope I can wear it for longer. However apart from that the sandal is well made and looks lovely, sole nice and 'squishy' to walk on. My advice is if you have wide feet or are a half size definitely go up a size but apart from the toe post issue for me I can recommend these for comfort and looks.

Comfortable and essential summer wear
Ok so I had a pair of fit flops years ago and I wore them to death. Basically all I wear I summer. They are so comfortable but they do work your leg muscles. They are also better for you than your beach flip flop which I would like in if it wasn’t for these. I don’t really like shoes much in summer but bare feet is frowned upon at work. These are actually better than the ones I had before which were patent with the logo on the top. These are matt black, no logo moreclassic/dressy looking than the others which were more trainery bcos of the puffy logo.Basically every woman should have fitflops in her wardrobe. For comfort, easy summer dressing, casual and dressy, classic and … did I say comfortable???

Reliable as ever
I have lots of pairs of fitflops and rarely wear any other brand since I broke my ankle 18 months ago. These lulu fitflops are beautifully plain (I have several pairs of bling ones) and nicely understated. I also have them in urban white and, despite my broad feet, find them extremely comfortable.

Very bouncy and comfortable
Recommended by my physio for bad arthritis in both knees. They are, as she said, like walking on air but - the back of the post is five and a half cms from the the front of the shoe. I am size eight and have really long toes, my second toe is four and a half cms long. My toes end two cms from the front of the shoe and hang over the back by the same. What to do? Hope the leather posts will stretch without breaking??

Awful !!!
Absolutely awful!!! I've bought Fitflops for years and many different styles and colours. If I hadn't seen Fitflop as the seller is have thought these were counterfeit. The quality is no where near their usual standard .I ordered a seven but no idea what size they actually are as they don't fit my mum who is a six. No mention of size on th product but the sticker on the box says seven . Something is overall not right here !!!A return on its way to you Amazon .No star rating given as it not even worth the one that I've been made to enter!!!

Leather is hard.
I have worn fit flops for many years all year round, but I can't remember a pair being this stiff between the toes before.Hopefully, if I wear them for a few hours everyday, in doors, my feet will gradually get used to them. The colour isn't the same as the photo they are a deeper tan but still quite nice.
