Many reviews say the toilet seat moves while others say it doesn’t. I’d like to point out, that the package for this toilet seat contains 2 different tripe of fixings you can use. The white plastic one is flimsy and won’t securely hold down the toilet seat and this is the fixing on our old toilet seat that caused it to move relentlessly which is why we needed a replacement. We used the black rubber ones and screwed it tightly and it wouldn’t budge. Of course we’d need more time to say that it’s solidly sturdy but so far it’s doing amazing. Using the black fixing was simple and easy compared to the white one (so I’d really advise you to pick the black rubber fixing when installing). The seat is a soft close, does take a while to close but we’re not bothered. The quick release button makes it easy to clean, no extra fuss. Overall an amazing and well needed replacement.

I refurbished my whole bathroom with a new suite few years ago but the cover of the toilet seat broke due to someone stepping on it and the soft close action also did not function for too long. So I needed to replace the seat - ones recommended by the company I purchased the suite from was not suitable as not good fit and they didn’t have the exact model, which baffled me! This one was a good enough replacement as it’s not too expensive, it has a soft close action as well, and the edge is thick so similar to the original one I have and the look I want. The seat is slightly shorter but when closed it’s a perfect fit so I decided to live with it. It is sturdy and not wobbly so I’m happy! I think it’s important to make sure you measure what you have first to ensure it fits or it’s near enough. Hope this helps!

Currently unused, but my second purchase of this exact seat as I broke the previous one by standing on it and getting myself up to the window sill. Easy to fit and use, comfortable with a nice seat cover to keep the thighs and bum from getting cold. Very easy to wipe clean, especially good when you remove it and clean.

Perfect fit, leave a little loose to adjust so your happy with final position ,then tighten up. Not flimsy or cheap as others have said.

Standard toilet seat - easy to fit and clean, unfortunately soft close hinges only lasted two years - had expected them to last longer.

Great product, soft close is good .. shape fits toilet well. Seems sturdy and well made. Did have a slight problem that the left hand hinge wouldn't tighten properly, so seat did move a bit. Spoke to traders customer service who were supportive and supplied a replacement for the faulty hinge within a few days... Now seat it tight and doesn't move.... Would recommend

Bought to replace a Vitra Retro pan seat which had lasted about 15 years. it was good quality but this product is on a par for quality....hope it lasts as long! Had trouble with supplied nylon type plug fixings for the top fixing pan, with not being able to tighten enough to stop the toilet seat sliding about. Contacted Look & Buy who provided great service and supplied alternative Rubber fixings which have solved the problem - well done them! It's not a perfect fit but good enough and looks the part - the fixing design allowed good adjustment for best fit.

Very good quality toolet seat and easy to attach. Excellent product.

Item was good, however the fittings are quite different from the images provided by the seller. There was NO instructions provided when delivered, however others have advised that they did receive clear instruction documents with the product. We had issues with delayed delivery information, and we were charged quite a bit more than what this product is being listed at now. Not impressed by that either. We did receive the product, and it will work for what we require, so four stars. Other purchasers had advised that they did not receive their product so I am happy we did.
