Fantastic
Great product for removing plaque. mint flavor just right, very bubbly when dry powder comes into contact with saliva. Concerned about packaging given some of the reviews, not a problem for me, glad I wasn’t deterred. Absolutely love the tin can and a hole puncture in the top where notated by circle in center dispenses nicely with the right amount with two shakes!

Reminds me of my childhood
I got this because I remember it from my childhood, when it was available in the US and my dad used it all the time. I worried a bit about tooth powder being tooo abrasive for your enamel, but the information I was able to find about this indicated that it was not considered too abrasive. That being said, I still use regular toothpaste more often. But as for this powder, I'm impressed with the fact that it doesn't cake, foams up beautifully, and gives a satisfying brushing experience. My teeth feel clean afterward and it doesn't increase tooth sensitivity (a problem I regularly experience). The taste is reasonably minty, but it doesn't last as long as regular toothpaste mintiness. It's also a little inconvenient to use since you have to put it in your palm first and dip into it a couple of times, but this isn't really a disincentive for me. This was very expensive, but you don't use much, so I think it's going to last a long time, longer than an average tube. So the price might not be too much higher than toothpaste. I just got it for nostalgia, but it is useful for travel (not a gel, so won't spill or flag TSA). I like it.

This stuff is amazing
I got this toothpaste powder for a through-hike where every gram carried counts — the powder is lighter than the toothpaste "tabs" that are common among ultralight hikers, but which usually don't contain fluoride, and which to me have a weird texture. I bought this as an experiment not really sure how I would like it, but this tooth powder has well and truly exceeded my expectations. It leaves my teeth feeling super clean — my teeth feel clean for hours after brushing, even overnight — and in that sense it out-performs the Colgate Total toothpaste I was using previously. In addition, it has a mild refreshing flavor that plays well with other strong flavors, like coffee, rather than competing with them in unfortunate ways like the Total. And knowing it contains fluoride gives me peace of mind. The tin is adorable, as is the drawing of the muscular tooth, but I do find the tin a little hard to dispense the powder from accurately and without spills. Decanting some powder into a resealable wide-mouthed container you can dip a (dry) tooth brush head into solved that issue for me.

2nd review will come, pending "cap" change
You open the flip top cap and there's no opening. No plastic ring to pull up & out and reveal an opening. I assumed it's probably for "show" but I don't understand why it would be. I proceeded to take off the whole cap and i did, however, I had to pull so hard, the impact, made toothpowder fly everywhere, floor, table, face, chest, and lap. I think Colgate is a trusted brand, I use it. but the cap made me give it a one star, and throw in trash. Modify cap and I'll modify my review, no doubt it will be a positive review.

Poor design!
I ordered this product 2 times the second time was a replacement for a damaged product. The packaging the first time was in a plastic bag. Both toothpowder cans were damaged and powder everywhere. Returning per Amazon request. The replacement order came today in a bag but in a box. Again both cans dented, not as bad as the first order but tooth powder everywhere in the bag. Very poor design for the product. It is not worth the time and effort to keep returning this product. Unfortunately this is the only product that my grandson will use.

Tooth powder good, packaging bad
My family used Pepsodent tooth powder when I was a kid. I used to love it. I have never seen it since. I thought I'd try this brand to see if I liked it. I like the flavor and the grit a lot. It tastes similar to Pepsodent. Wintergreen flavor, something like a wintergreen LifeSaver as someone pointed out. I really like that it is a powder instead of the usual paste. Powder does not create foam in your mouth so you don't have it overflowing down your chin. Much cleaner. It cleans the teeth just as well as a paste and leaves a pleasant taste in the mouth. You need a minimal amount so it is more economical than paste. I am glad I tried it. One thing I don't like, which many reviewers complained about, is the terribly designed plastic cap. I deducted two stars for this. First of all I think it should be metal like the can, with an easy to remove sanitary plastic seal around it when new. Instead it is all plastic. And here's the problem. It has a flip-top cap on top of a larger fixed cap, force fitted to the metal spout of the can. The fixed cap has a small hole with a collar around it for pouring, with a thick plastic plug at the bottom of the cap that is molded in place. It is almost impossible to pierce it without incurring serious injury because it is so thick. Many people gave up and some stuck a heated pointed object into it to pierce it, making a mess. That didn't satisfy me. I managed to get the base cap off by screwing it counterclockwise while forcing it upward. I then drilled out the hole with a 5/16" bit in a speed-controlled electric hand drill at slow speed, resting the cap against a block of wood. The bit was an exact fit and the hole came out pretty clean. Forcing the cap back onto the spout, it looked fairly professional. See pictures for details. No one should have to go to this length to open a can of tooth powder. It is ridiculous. Very poor design that is potentially dangerous. Another thing is, the flip-top cap doesn't close tightly. It lifts up with a feather touch. Not what you want with a powder. There are a lot of complaints about the can being beyond the expiration date but they are probably by people who didn't read the back label on the can. The label reads: "EXPIRY 24 MONTHS FROM MFD." "MFD. MONTH, YEAR & B. NO. SEE BOTTOM" The date on the bottom of the can is "10-20 B31," meaning that the MFD. (Manufacturing Date) is 10-31-2020, I think, and the expiry date is 24 months LATER, on 10-31-2022. See pictures for details.

Wonderful!
As an elder with little hand strength, even using the dispenser type toothpaste is difficult, I thought I would try the can. Perfect and nostalgic ! It totally reminds me what we all used when I was a child and the flavor is exactly the same flavor that came from that black and blue can.

Super Rakshak !
"Super Rakshak" (Super Protecteur).
