Our youngest is still at an age that he appreciates toy advent calendar each year. Our children also love advent calendars - they are always a source of excitement in the run up to Christmas and they have been spoilt with these from a different toy brand for several years in a row now. This year in order to pass on the Lego or Playmobil calendars for a change, we though it a nice idea to surprise him with a Schleich dino-themed one. We already have a pile of Schleich animals and the dino range is an increasingly large part of that. If you ask me most of the very good looking Dino’s models are quite static but our son quite likes to play with his collection.These high quality Schleich dino’s never come cheap so the collection in this advent calendar is actually a nice cost- effective way to start or extend your collection.The set includes a ranger, two larger dinos and a few smaller ones. We were lucky not to own any of these yet. We already have a few of the other included accessories like the food stuffs but we never have enough of these. But there is also a cage included and a net, which offers some good play value.Schleich figures are generally of high quality and quite durable - very few in our collection have damage despite lots of intensive play and rough storage. Paint might chip off or show some wear but the horses generally remain in good condition.So to conclude; this makes an attractive, cost-efficient gift ahead of Christmas! Our son will be pleased.

Quality toys

Bought for my grandson for Christmas who loves dinosaurs at the moment.Schleich items are always good and sturdy and this calendar looks just right for him.I'm sure he will enjoy it come December 1st

Day 7...Pretty poor so far; today was two tiny fish in a plastic bag so hard to open that my autistic son had a total meltdown ( he won't accept help). I've just opened up the box to remove objects from further bags and see we've got three more disappointing days of little stickers to come, a tiny bone, a tiny knife..and two days when we are just going to get HALF an egg. I've just ordered some more models to put in to the Advent calendar, making this a very expensive mistake.

My boy is Dino mad so this was right up his street. It’s really underwhelming though. There are some nice bits but when a window contains a small wallow talkie or a random peices of net that have no detail or anything to them they are disappointed. He was permanently looking for the dinosaurs and they were quite sparse.

Good idea for a Christmas gift. A little disappointing that one day it's a model dinosaur & the next day a tiny paper of tiny stickers. They need to re-think the format.

My son absolutely loves this. The quality is superb. Just wish there are more dinosaurs and less of other non dinosaur stuff. It would be good if the box came with a description of what the dinosaurs are.

Todo un acierto de calendario

Sehr schöne Tiere, einige größere aber auch etliche Kleintiere. War super verpackt, war von Kindern nicht einsehbar. Preisleistungsverhältnis passt.Man merkt beim Vergleich mit anderen Schleichtieren, die gelegentlich als Zugabe angeboten werden, dass die Tiere aus dem Kalender eine bessere Qualität haben.
