It’s a really great little machine but I wish it was a bit louder. I find the noise relaxing and actually making me sleepy but it doesn’t cover the noises coming from the outside so well.

I wanted a white noise machine that sounded more natural and this is perfect. Not too loud also so during day time naps baby can still hear daytime noises so she can distinguish between day and night sleep. This was exactly what I expected and wanted. If you want a noise machine to drown out noise this isn't the one though.

After reading reviews I had high hopes for this machine. I always sleep with a fan but after mine broke I decided to investigate white noise machines. Compared to a basic fan, the pitch or frequency of this device hurts my ears, even though it is fairly quiet. After 4 hours of the first night it developed a faint rattling or flapping noise which I could not get out of my head. After two sleepless nights I am returning the device and buying another fan. I don't know if it is faulty or just poorly made, some people may not notice the flapping noise, but it wasn't for me.

Adjustable sound level to drown out any disturbance.

The media could not be loaded. The unit arrived with 2 screws improperly assembled, half the way out of the unit. I screwed these back in but we have found that the unit is intermittently rattling even so.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well made and substantial the Uno feels. It works well and is very simple to operate. I was concerned that it may not be loud enough but, if anything, it's too loud for me even on the lowest setting. That's fine, I just stand it further away - about 4 metres. It would be annoyingly loud within reach of my bed though (I tried it). I'm quite happy with it but a timer would be very useful as I would prefer the sound to stop once I'm asleep. I also bought a Lectrofan Evo, which was nearly double the price but has a range of sounds, very precise volume adjustments from almost silent to loud and a timer. I'm keeping both as they're both good but, if I had to have only one the Lectrofan would be it.

I bought this as it only has one function ie white noise, It is simple to use and effective. I prefer having the fitted U.K. plug as it is left on throughout the night.

Nice calming noise, easy to adjust for a louder sound, it works!
