WECK 743 Mold Jar (Weck 743)

I love these!!! They’re so big and fit so much. Perfect for sourdough or a fun drink. I get tons of compliments on them, they’re perfect and so cute! The glass is pretty thick, i would say you can’t stack multiple of them. Can be airtight if you seal it correctly.

Love these jars! Perfect for using with sourdough starter cuz the plain jar is pretty much exactly 400g & perfect size. Great quality & value for what i use them!

I LOVEEEE my Weck jars, perfect for sourdough started. The lid quality is really good haven’t had any issues with them and it seems to be leak proof. It is dishwasher safe and is very easy to clean. Fits a lot of stuff in it, it is fairly roomy for whatever you’re needing it for! I also like the overall look of them. I would say if you need a good jar to store anything but the Weck jars. I am planning to get more due to how much I love them! You can stack them but I keep my lid loose so I don’t think you should unless your lid is fit tightly. if you’re thinking about it, just buy them!!

I love these jars for sourdough starters! They are the perfect size and dishwasher safe! I love the way the look and their versatility! I also love the way the lid can just be set on top (with starter inside) and I didn’t even need the clips!

These jars are great for storing your food and making sourdough starter! Had to purchase these twice because my two others fell off the shelf and broke. They are glass and wash well in the dishwasher. Size is versatile, glass is nicely shaped and thick. I don’t know how airtight they are as that’s not my purpose for these jars. Highly recommend!

These sturdy jars are perfect for maintaining sourdough starter. Size is great for growing starter to bake several loaves. It’s easy to remove starter and jars are easy to clean.

I love these jars so much! I mostly use them for my sourdough starter, but occasionally use them for other things as well. I love that you can choose to use the seal, or not. I seal the lids down for leftovers, but place the glass lid loosely on the jar for my starter. The best part about them for starter, is that the sides have no curve, so it’s very easy to scrape the inside of the jar, keeping them as clean as possible, and the mouth of the jar is wide, so it’s easy to feed your starter. These jars are so worth the price!

Beautiful jars but received one of them smashed to smithereens and the other was fine.

Poor manufacturing quality, multiple long cracks and bubbles in glass, asymmetrical off-centred bottom

I bought these jars in February. One of them is broken already while I was discarding my sourdough starter with a spatula. Not happy at all as I thought they would last longer than that given the price of them.
