It's pretty rare I take the time to provide an online review for anything, but these deserved one. After grumpily refusing to give up using my old 1980-90's C-style lights, they finally gave up themselves. Forced to finally move into the 21st century of xmas lights I spent a season unhappy putting up new ones, just to find burned out strands, or ones that would stop working and cause the whole strand to turn off for a single bad bulb.Bah-humbugging those lights into the trash I went on the hunt for new ones the following year and stumbled across these.They are absolutely awesome. Forget the warning about only putting two sections together. I've got a row of 4 connected, and another row of 3. They work perfectly and I cannot see any loss of power or brightness. I'm certain I could hook even more up together and it would also be fine. I may test that when I take them down this year.I'm on year 2 of these now. They survived the wind and rain of year 1 perfectly, and survived the yearly wait crumpled up in a box waiting to be used again. They were surprisingly easy to untangle when removed, and work perfectly once again.Very impressive product!

For icicles lights they were packed well and easy to unscramble. I got 4 sets to use also black aluminum fence. It is 4' and the icicles worked perfectly along it. I had to make a small adjustment along the gate opening. My neighbors remarked about the difference it made and how much they liked them. I hung wreaths at the corners (we are corner lot) and every 6 ft along the way. I eliminated shrub lights. The icicles seemed to illuminate the entire front yard. It was simple, tasteful, yet dramatic. They are so well make and I like how well they can be plugged into each other. Timer worked perfect and so did the many light effects. I will purchase a couple more sets for along the back fence. I have NO problem recommending them.

Bought three strings of these to replace some that were damaged in an ice storm last winter. The warm white glow is very nice and they are easy to untangle and install. My only comment is that the icicles seem shorter than the last brand I bought (which is no longer available on Amazon). The timer works great, once set, they will come on at the same time every day and stay on for six hours, easy peasy!

Used these to light up my deck and front of house. Very easy to string up and couple sets together. Did not see timer on lights, although that was an advertised feature.

This year I decided to put icicle lights across the front of my house. My roofline is about 90 feet, so I ordered three sets of these lights. I found that the length of the lights, as described for the product was very accurate, so the three sets of lights covered the front of my house with room to spare. Following the instructions, I only connected two sets of lights together for power and kept the third set separately powered. This kept the brightness of the lights at an acceptable level. The length of the longest drops was fairly long. My house is a single story house, and I think these lights would be very good on a multistory or bigger house.The only minor issue that I had with the lights is that each LED only emits one color, there are blue, green, red, and yellow LED lights. For the price, however, that probably is a very minor issue.Overall I have been very pleased with the lights and would recommend them.

I was happy with the way the lights look. The color was good. However, they are to lightweight to use outside.I hung these on the edge of the house using the standard shingle clips for christmas lights. While they look good, as you can see in the picture, the icicles are so lightweight they keep blowing on to the roof and do not hang down. I had to go up everyday and pull them off the roof. Not fun, and not safe when there is snow. As a result of this I returned them. Had they had more weight, I would have given them 4 stars and kept them.They do tangle easy and the plug is very oversized. However I knew that when I purchased them, and it is the fact they do not stay visibly hung from the clips that caused my return.

I had to replace my old sets of led’s this year and purchased these. I really liked the 30’ length these came in. Has smaller wire and integrated led’s that won’t allow water to penetrate and short out (the problem with the old ones). They hang a little bit further down as well. In packing them up after the season, they stored much easier than the old ones due to the smaller wire and bulbs. I really like them.

I bought two of these to string across the front of our house this year. They are super easy to string together, and are definitely bright enough for the job. I only took off one star as the pictures are a little misleading. If you look at the second picture in the description, it shows the lights in more of a random pattern which is what I was expecting. There are of course different lengths for each of the "icicles" however, they all follow the same color pattern. So for example, each "icicle" starts with red, then blue, then green etc. That being said, I actually ripped half of an icicle off by accident and they stayed lit and I had no issues so that was a big plus. For the money, they are worth it but I wish the colors were more random and didn't follow the same color pattern for each icicle.
