This robust and easy to use charger is amazing value for money, and the brightly flashing display of charging status is very useful. The supplied Micro-USB to USB-A cable measures a generous three feet, is of good quality, and matches the charger perfectly. The charger also has a USB-C port, but you need to provide your own cable if you want to use this alternative. In either case, for many people finding a free USB port will be easier than finding a free mains socket. Do, however, try to use a USB port that can provide plenty of power, so that charging can complete in the shortest possible time. A couple of supplementary points, based on my experiences with a collection of AA and AAA Panasonic eneloops (10-12 of each) that had only been through a few charging cycles, but in many cases had been sitting unused for a number of years. (1) If a battery shows ERR (error) on the display, it may be totally drained - and the instructions make clear that the charger will not work with batteries in this state. I discarded several AAAs because of this. (2) Some reviewers have commented that AAAs do not fit as well as AAs. I did not find this, but did discover that a few AAAs needed a couple of charging rounds (done by removing and inserting them again) before they would show a full charge. My surmise is that this was because they were almost but not quite fully drained, so the charger was able to restore them with an extra effort. There were no such issues with any of the AAs. In summary, this charger is very highly recommended, especially at a price so much lower than many competitive products.

Excellent little charger for Ni-MH Ni-CD AA, AAA and 9v square batteries. It has a clear charging display that indicates the charged status for each individual battery. The display flashes when charging and gradually moves to the top till it stops when fully charged. Plugs in to any USB socket and charges quickly. Make sure you get the one with the 9v battery feature as some reviews on here show it without it. All you need for charging the most commonly used three types of batteries. Recommended

This little charger has been a lifesaver! I rely heavily on rechargeable batteries, and the HiQuick LCD 4-slot charger has proven to be a reliable and efficient way to keep them topped up. It can handle both AA and AAA batteries, which is super convenient. I particularly like the flexibility of being able to power it via USB – it has both USB-C and micro-USB input, so you can use whichever cable you have handy. Whether it's from my computer or a wall adapter, it's incredibly convenient. I've used it with both standard USB and higher-powered USB sockets to fast charge my HiQuick batteries, and it's worked flawlessly. The LCD screen is a nice touch, providing clear information on the charging status of each battery. It's also compact and lightweight, which is a bonus. I did have one unit fail after about seven months of use. However, Amazon's customer service was excellent and provided a hassle-free replacement. Overall, this charger is an absolute bargain. It's affordable, efficient, and does exactly what it's supposed to. Just be aware that you might encounter the occasional dud, but with Amazon's return policy, it's not a major concern.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I've already have one of these hooked up to the retro Nintendo Wii to keep those AA batteries charged up while playing. This one was bought for an Xbox 360, as you know those AA batteries are important when in a gaming session. It has 2 types of charging ports at the back USB micro & C. I've hooked up the C due to better & faster charge times. The display is simple & very functional on the charge levels, pity this didn't came in black to match my Xbox 360S

Das HiQuick Akku-Ladegerät funktioniert richtig gut. Ich nutze es hauptsächlich in Verbindung mit meinen Amazon Basics AA- und AAA-Akkus – und die Kombination läuft einwandfrei. Die Akkus werden schnell und zuverlässig geladen, ohne warm zu werden oder Probleme zu machen. Sehr praktisch ist die LCD-Anzeige: Man sieht auf einen Blick, wie weit der Ladevorgang ist und ob alle Akkus korrekt erkannt wurden. Die Bedienung ist simpel, einfach Akkus einlegen und los geht’s. Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil das Gerät etwas größer als erwartet ist, aber insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden. Ein solides Ladegerät, das tut, was es soll!

Für den Preis ein so übersichtliches kompaktes Ladegerät mit gut ablesbaren Ladestatus und guter Ladegeschwindigkeit, unschlagbar!

Also das Gerät ist soweit ok, auch wenn es sehr klein ist. Was mich stört ist die lange Aufladezeit der Akkus!
