I ordered as a replacement for my generic paddleboard after bending my original fin and base. My original base molded back to shape, however, so I did not replace it after all. I am keeping this fun and base on hand just in case. The fin supplied does fit my original base, so I keep it as back up. The base is high quality vinyl and a good solid construction, will be a good replacement when the time comes. I have added other accessories to this board with HH-66 vinyl cement with great results. If you do order this fin and base, I highly recommend this cement to secure it. It grips well and holds firm even wet and high temps

One of our family kayaks had a mind of its own and would slide out to one side periodically while paddling in the bay. I put this on with some JB Weld marine epoxy and the slipping is now a thing of the past. Our kayak tracks true. Also, the base is permanent, but the fin can easily be removed if I wanted to run a river with it.

Does not fit intex explorer! This is a well made/durable fin but requires some grinding and smoothing to fit the intex explorer (and other) inflatable kayaks. No glue/pins included to attach the mount.

This box fin arrived and is well made for the price. You have to purchase vinyl glue separately. Product is worthy of the price paid.

I put in the specific name and fit I needed for my kayak. When I received this product, I realize it was way too long and not able to fit.

We did not check the model, however it is pretty standard one and it fits in our SUP from Aquamarina (drift model) with a little adjustment to hold it.
