I used this last year to make some rum. Some of the best rum I have ever drank. Doing so again this year and it's $10.00 cheaper this year than last year when buying 5 gallon jugs. They send this through the US Mail the box gets manhandled there is no easy way to move it until the box is opened and you can grab the handle. It's a good quality bucket and has not lost any molasses in shipping.

This blackstrap molasses has a rich smokey flavor. It's hard to describe. I wouldn't say it's delicious, but it's definitely tolerable.I bought it to reverse my gray hair, and I was shocked at the results. Usually I dye my hair every couple of months, and immediately afterwards, all of the gray hair pops right back up. Within just a couple of weeks of using this blackstrap molasses, the gray hairs didn't show back up.And I also noticed that some of the hairs were beginning to turn dark again in a very unusual pattern that I had never seen before. You could actually see some of their hairs turning dark.I didn't think it would work. But to my shock, it does work.I just colored my hair again and I've been on the blackstrap molasses for two months. It's drastically reduced my grey in just six weeks.I think part of it is because I was on a fantastic whole foods diet, and what I think happened is somehow the blackstrap molasses pushed it over the edge and darkened my hair.I would expect that within another couple of months, either I will have no gray hair or maybe just a few. But before I started this regimen, I was about 25 to 30 percent gray.I'm also taking chlorophyll, which is known as a powerful gray hair reversal. But I started the chlorophyll about a month after I started the blackstrap molasses. And it's very possible that it's the two in combination that is darkening my hair so much.There is definitely a 100% a natural way to reverse gray hair, but you have to be patient. Some people take six months to a year. Mine turned dark very quickly, and I understand that's very unusual. So I would say wait six months to one year if you're going to use it for that.Anyway, I'm halfway through the jar of this fabulous Golden Barrel Blackstrap Molasses. When I'm about three-quarters through, I'm going to buy another one and I will take it indefinitely. I love it!

Using this with my medical cannabis. Great molasses for activating EM-1 microbes and to create your own FPE Fermented Plant Extract. To make FFJ Fermented Fruit Juice and FPJ Fermented Plant Juice it's best to use brown sugar or jaggery. I've had great results using this molasses for FPE, EM-1, and as a Bloom booster. Highly recommend!

The buckets were in good shape upon arrival. The boxes took a beating, however.

I love the product and the price is the best I've found, but the top had been a little damaged in shipping to where some leaked out. (Not enough to notify anyone about, but shipping companies need to be more careful)

I love this brand. I got a small jug and it didn't last more than a month. So I got this 5 gall bucket. She's loves the sweet additive and has put her extra pounds back on when I feed with this.Definitely recommend giving to a dairy animal.

Fantastic. My lab results showed a normal (but low normal level) of potassium so I decided to bump up my intake. Unsulfered blackstrap molasses is an incredible source of potassium as well as other trace elements. A cost effective natural source of needed minerals and vitamins. I've been taking 2 tablespoons a day for 6 weeks--my energy is up, my nails are stronger, and it seems to have accelerated the healing of my nerves damaged during a stroke. It is an acquired taste, but I've found mixing it in a cup of hot water makes it drinkable. It tastes better in a cup of coffee but I missed my morning cup of black coffee so I switched to mixing it with water. I highly recommend this item.
