I bought this watch about six months ago, to use as a spare watch. It has only been worn about half a dozen times, and now the back of the watch has fallen off - that's the stainless steel back. I've tried putting it back on, but it just falls off again - it doesn't snap into place as you'd expect. This is a cheap watch and unfortunately it behaves like one too. (Apart from the back issue, the strap is very scratchy and uncomfortable, and the watch is slightly slow as regards time, losing a minute or so every few weeks.)I would definitely not recommend buying this watch.

What's not to like? At only £6 how can you fault it? It tells the time accurately, it is just the right weight, and the design is a classic look swiss military. Adjusting the hands does show how flimsy inside it is - but that happens once a month so no worries for me. The strap is ok quality. If I need a new battery or smash this I'll just buy a new watch.So I prefer this to my other swiss style watch which is £20 and a bit too heavy for my taste. Both tell the time accurately.Update: after 6 weeks it stopped. I reset the time, and then it worked again for a wekk or so. Now it has stopped again. So it has only one job, and it can't be relied upon for that. So I am returning it.

The strap is rubbish. I purchased the watch intending to replace the strap with a black Velcro fastening one, which I did. It was so easy - a quick twist and a tug and off the old one came! Using 22mm quick release pins, the replacement strap was fitted in seconds.I must commend the design and manufacture of the watch itself. The first position of the adjuster button was easier to locate than on any of my 35+ other watches. The design of the window giving not one unreadable number, but the date below and above the current date, takes account of aged, failing eyesight, and the fact that every hour the minute hand obscures the actual date, but it can be deduced from the before or after date showing in the big window. We should not forget also that the hour hand spends a very long time obscuring the date window at about 3o’clock. A design plus! If the strap was much better, I think there would be far more 5 stars.

Sorry not very good, it's not water resistant, can't see the diel in the night, strap broke after a few weeks, lesson learnt, you get what you pay for.

Bought it for my father who loves watches. He’s been wearing it for over a week now and he loves it. Looks very much like the Swiss army watch

I just wanted a cheap watch which is what I got. The calendar is sometimes difficult to see but I like the canvas strap.
