1/4 Inch Shank T Slot Keyhole Router Bit Set - Suit for 1/4 & 3/8 Inch Hex Bolts

I bought these bits so I could make my own T slots in table saw and other jigs. I used the 1/4" bit after first cutting a 1/4" wide dado and then used the 1/4" bit to cut the wings. When I tried using only the bit to cut both parts of the T slot, the work piece wandered. The slot fits the head of a 1/4 by 20 hex bolt or you can adjust the router to cut a slot for T bolts (such as toilet holddown bolts). The bits seem plenty sharp and well made.

Haven't used these bits yet but they appear to be solidly made and to the correct dimensions. Packaging was faulty resulting in the receipt of only one bit which was returned for a complete set. Look forward to using the bits on planned table saw sled and jigs.

Smaller keyhole bit shattered on first use. Incredibly brittle, pitting in shaft. Low quality metal.

So happy. Made a shelf and the key hole was perfect.
