Bought this for my father as an early Father's Day gift. He loved it. My father loves the shuttle missions but the Apollo 11 mission is one of his favorites because his father worked on the Lunar Module. He spent a good while flipping through these. We're waiting for him to get his new phone to try out the AR function. 10/10

I really enjoyed this flip book set. Each book is in a separate box. one side of a flip book has 3 scenes. I added it to my library as a "active animated book" . Really cool historical experience in a unique medium

My grandson put this game on his Christmas List! He loves learning about space. I will come back and leave an additional review when he gets to play the game a few times.

well, this is a tough review for me...First, the book is well done... fit n finish is excellent...the movie effect works good... but a bit dated in todays digital worldmight have wow effect for the very young...if it was 1960's, this would be impressive even for adults ;)The augmented reality view is much better, making the flip book not appealing...so I will give this 3.5 stars considering the price and wow factor in todays modern world...but in all fairness, its very well made and performs as required. But my review considers the macro view...

By quickly flipping the pages with your thumb, they generate an illusion of movement, therefore the name "thumb cinema".The animations are based on the original concept art, created by NASA artists in 1966 to explain the main stages of the mission to the broader public. The Apollo 11 Animated Journey is very entertaining! I recommend it!

This flip book makes a fun gift and the animations are cool. The book build quality is very good as well. The sleeve is a tight fit, so you'll have to decide how you want to store it.
