I gave it 4 stars because it was shipped in a plastic sack and the bill was bent when it arrived. Otherwise, it is a great hat.

I bought one of these 6 years ago and have used it for thousands of miles. Got the orange one so that hunters see me on the trails and drivers see me on the roads. Finally noticed some of the material is fraying at the edge of the visor so I bought a new one as back-up. Amazingly, the new one is an improvement... lighter weight materials but still wicks the sweat away. Another reviewer mentioned that the newer sweat band isn't as bulky as older models, but that's fine with me as the sweat still moves to the brim and then drips down... I sweat a ton and don't want it all sponging-up on my forehead, it needs to drip off, and this gets the job done.I almost never write reviews, but when a perfect piece of gear is created the designers deserve recognition. Well done!

I really like this hat. My other hats are Nike and Asics, and I like the Headsweats one the best. I sweat a lot and run in DC in the summer when it is hot and humid. So no, this hat does not absorb all the sweat when it is 100 degrees and 80% humidity and I'm doing a long run, so sweat will occasionally run into my eyes. But no hat will completely wick all of the sweat in those conditions, and this hat performs the best of the ones I've tried. I also like that it fits deeply on my head. In comparison, my other hats feel like they are just sitting on top of my head. I am a woman, but apparently I have a fairly large head! Also great is that it doesn't have velcro. All of my other hats have velcro and they snag on my clothes in the wash. I bought the orange because at the time it was the cheapest color and I like wearing bright colors. I am definitely buying more of these so I never run out of clean hats.

I bought this for hiking and running. It works great for both. It's so light that I barely notice wearing it and the bright colors make sure you're seen. It dries fast and goes thru the wash fine.

I like this running hat. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it fits somewhat small. It has an adjustable band in the back for a "one size fits all" arrangement. I don't have a large head by any means. I have the adjustment out as big as it will get and it still seems a little tighter than I would like. It does breath well and wicks away sweat very well.

This hat is pretty nice. The construction is good, the materials are nice, and the color is bold.One problem I found is that it doesn't fit much larger than a 7 1/2 hat size (I'm a 7 5/8 and it's very tight, and I maxed out the adjustment strap)The adjustment strap is webbing, and has no stretch to it, so that can make it a bit uncomfortable.The hat itself is breathable, and the inner band is a nice grey terry cloth material, which wicks sweat. It does an okay job at holding sweat, but not great. Overall its a nice hat for running, it stands out, its breathable enough, and the brim is a good size and holds its shape well.

well madelove the sweat band on the inside that helps wick the sweat away from the forehead,very light fabric, it protects well from the sun without making you hot.Bought one then four other colors as I loved it.I rinse it after unning and so far so good!
