Are these made in a country that's not China?

All I could find is that they are imported.

Are these socks really a pure 95% cotton 5% spandex blend? The materials were not listed on the bag they arrived in or on the cardboad inserts.

The socks are about 5” long and stretched to about my size 12. No, they are NOT 95% cotton.
