What a great book - 100 times more useful than the 2 others I purchased. There are no pretty photos and few maps but you can easily find them on line.This book is packed with useful tips on how to tackle the main attractions and advice on what you might prefer to do instead. There are hidden gems and useful location tips for finding that one restaurant you fancy visiting. There’s even a list of recommended tours.All in all a well written book by an author who is clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I’ve made notes and I’m sure it will be a great help.

This book is absolutely brilliant! Better than the ‘Top 10’ books, this gives you detailed chapters about the history of Florence, attractions, places to eat amongst more. Definitely buy this book if you’re going to Florence!

Good buy.

I came across this book on my sisters bookshelf and couldn’t put it down so I ordered my own copy as we were all going to Florence for a family wedding. The book was invaluable! All the little tips such as early morning walks or places to eat.So I had to buy the Rome book for this year which is just as good - I mean superb

There were so many great pieces of advise in this book. We visited a few of the restaurants and bars and the were pure gems.

This book is great when red in advance. You can choose what to see, where and what to eat and then save a lot of time. I really enjoyed all the stories.
